BEST WESTERN PLUS Danbury/Bethel

Location is very accessible from I-84. Hotel Staff were very accommodating. The room was exceptionally clean. Morning Breakfast offering was tastefully presented.

Clean rooms, decent staff and good location for travelers. I slept well in a pretty comfy bed and enjoyed a quiet evening. Lots of close restaraunts to choose from and a gym next door.

We stayed two separate nights, bookending a road trip. The first stay was about perfect...the room was extremely clean, comfortable and quiet (albeit no frills). The second night, we had to change rooms because the antiquated room heater was extremely noisy. The staff was accomodating but the next room had similar issues...every time the heat kicked on it'd make a sound like a loud refrigerator compressor. There were other minor issues (the bathroom door wouldn't close, the card key reader didn't work properly and I couldn't get into my room). On the plus side, the beds were very comfortable. The hotel is near the interstate but you don't hear any road noise even in the rooms that face the highway. There's an awesome fitness facility which is free for guests. The continental breakfast was a little better than average. Lots of TV channels, including HBO. WiFi seemed to depend on where you are in the hotel. All in all, I think the place was OK for what I paid with a coupon, but I wouldn't stay there at full price.

It was a nice place to stay. We had a ground floor room and it was very quiet. No noise from the other rooms. The shower head was the only thing we had trouble with. I am short and could not adjust it for my height. But we would stay there again.

This motel was nowhere near where I searched. Took us an hour to find it. We were within 5 miles and the hotel staff still couldn't figure out where we were.

My husband and I had a last-minute opportunity to take a mini-vacation, and we got really lucky when someone cancelled and a room became available at the Best Western Plus in Bethel, CT. We were so pleasantly surprised. The front desk staff was very friendly, check-in was easy, the room was super clean, the decor and furnishings throughout the hotel appeared either new or very recently updated, and the bed was very comfortable. The coffeemaker, microwave and refrigerator in the room were in good condition, and the free Wi-fi was easy to access. Even though we did not use the fitness amenities, they were impressive. The continental breakfast in the morning was well-stocked and the breakfast burritos were a nice touch. I can only say good things about this hotel. I would definitely return and I would recommend it to others.

The people who work at the desk are very helpful. This is my second stay at this hotel.

nice comfortable beds, plenty of shopping and resturants and a diner nearby. Minutes form the exit off of Route 84. great sports/exercise club and free breakfast. we got 3 pillows each without asking for them!
