Nice and clean hotel

Friendly staff in hotel, even more friendly staff at the restaurant. Rooms are clean(had two rooms at the same stay). Somewhat noisy due to lower-level floor.

Not fancy but a good value

The location was great. Gondolas right down to the village were very convenient and fun. No restaurant for the summer season was dissapointing. The rooms were clean and the staff efficient but the beds were a little uncomfortable and the pillows were awful. I'd go back for the price but I'd bring my own pillow.

A beautiful surprise

Summer stay and no air conditioning, but windows opened to allow for cool air. The Village offered food and shopping. View was awesome. Road Harley from Custer, SD through Estes and arrived at this beautiful resort for a price that was unbelieveable. In winter the rate would have been 4 times the amount.

Nice Place

We stayed at the Vintage Hotel because the price and the hotel is located right next to the Winter Park Village. During the Visit we went Mountain Biking. The hotel offered an indoor bike lock up so you didn't have to worry about keeping your bike in your room or out in the weather on a bike rack. The hotel staff managed the lock up so all you needed was you room number to get your bike. The hotel staff were extremely nice and were always helpful. A chair lift is available to take you from the hotel to the WP village and is right in the parking lot. AWESOME!! A few items thought caused me to rate this at 4/5 stars. First, they do not have a breakfast service during the week. You have to visit the WP Village nearby for food or drive 5 miles into town to eat. Second, the rooms were nice but a bit dirty. The floors seemed like they could use a good steam cleaning. Most common areas though looked fine. The pool was also nice but accessing it was though the second floor of the hotel and it was not very easy to find.

Entertainment tip: Short walk from hotel

Mountain biking at WP is only $37 for a full day. Half days are $29 and run from aprox 10-2pm or 2-7pm. They have trails ranging from easy to advanced. While we did do some trails with a hard tail, front suspension bike, you really need a full suspension bike to ride the whole mountain. These are available for rent at the village along with protective gear.

Wonderful location with a view

1. We went mountain biking, white water rafting and took advantage of the gift shops and views. 2. More evening family entertainment, extended pool hours.....10pm is to early. 3. It was our first time in Winter Park Co for the summer, cool temps made being outdoors enjoyable. Hotel could use some updating in their rooms other than that We cant wait for our next trip!!

Great place, perfect for our needs

I stayed at the hotel for a wedding this past weekend. I did the flowers for the wedding and the little kitchen/bar was perfect for my purposes. I love that you can just put the murphy bed away for the day so that you have extra space. Nice staff and clean accommodations, but a little dated.

Might have been decent at one point.....

While the employees were friendly and professional, the facilties themselves were pretty run-down; from the pool to the elevator to the room itself. Can't comment on the restaurant/bar/room-service since all those normal serices were closed. The only alternative was a drive into town or a "chair-lift" into the village that closed at 8:00pm. I'm sure we would have spent more money at both the hotel as well as in the village, had we not just essentially treated the hotel as there for sleeping only. Too bad actually, we were in the mood for an impromptu get away with a tad bit of pampering but....no go. Actually, I would extend the above comment to all of Winter Park Village activities (minus the restaurants, the ones we visited were quite good). Kinda seems like facilities-management has ceased caring.
