"Lovely accomodations in center of Vail"

A friend and I spent the 4th of July weekend in Vail at the Sabastian. The service was great starting the moment we drove up to valet parking and were each given an icy cold root beer. The room was nicely appointed, roomy, very clean and lovely comfy beds....and the turn down service in the evenings always included a yummy sweet treat. All of the staff was friendly and extremely helpful. I recommend this destination to families and singles alike. The location is a ten.....and what a fun place to be on the 4th.

Great place to stay in Vail!

This is a great place to stay! It is in a perfect location- within walking distance to the slopes/chair lift and right in the center of Vail Village. The hotel is beautiful and staff were wonderful and very accomodating to our needs. They were always willing to help and very friendly. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The amenities (pool/hot tub) are great. I will definitely stay here again on my return trip to Vail.

Good location and great service

Went to this hotel for a ski trip. Service was fantastic - top notch. Three great outdoor hot tubs were awesome after skiing all day and the heated pool was fun too. Only negative is its a long walk to the ski lift with all your equipment or a bus shuttle ride (the bus stop is right outside the hotel which is good).

Excellent choice in Vail

Easy walk to bars and restaurants; fairly quick walk to Vista Bahn lift. New hotel, very nice. Verandah with multiple hot tubs. We got an awesome deal [...] for this hotel so liked it even more -- regular price is a bit high. But hey, it's Vail.

Nice Spa

For a ski hotel the ski concierge was poor and not helpful. Hotel was clean but there was no makeup mirror and the lighting was poor. Spa was lovely.

Ski vacation

The hotel was nice and clean. Ski lifts are about a 5-10 min walk away. The restaurant in the hotel was just average for the price. For $18 the VERY small breakfast buffet was not worth it. There are 3 small hot tubs and one small heated pool that are nice after a long day on the slopes. We had an upgraded (deluxe) room that was supposed to have a view of the mountain, but only had a view of the building in front of us. There is also contruction next to the hotel that got quite noisy in the morning.
