Relaxed family facility
Staff anxious to help and although the parking was an extra expense it was out of the weather-close to grocery stores and minutes from Lionshead.

The condo was fine, about what I expected. The furnishing were a bit worn but not bad. The advertising did not say it had no air-conditioning. The weather this was not a problem but you did need to keep the winows open and the condo did come with two nice fans. However, the problem is that I-70 is just outside the window and you hear the traffic going all night long.

Value for Vail
Location is not in Lionshead, but the shuttle makes it very convenient. Room was dated interior but comfortable. Try to get a room not facing the road, noise is noticeable at night.

Perfect Balance of Location and Cost
Fantastic amenities including indoor pool & hot tub as well as outdoor hot tub. Room 2Bed/Bath very comfortable and clean. Excellent shuttle bus service to Vail & Lionshead as well as free service into villages for dinner. Location is still walkable into Lionshead (0.5m), but MUCH better value than staying in village itself. Simba lends itself to skiers that want to be flexible, with the excellent Beaver Creek also only 10mins drive away. Breckenridge, A-Basin, Copper Mountain, all within 45mins. Free Coffee, Free Wifi, Free DVD rental, Free Shuttle. We will be back!!!

Good value but location not the best
Good clean rooms, good service, and love the large outdoor hot tub. The only drawback is the location. Its far from Vail and Lionshead villages (not walking distance) so you have to rely on the free hotel shuttle or town shuttle. Otherwise its good value for the money and I would consider staying here again.

Nightlife tip:
Short drive from hotel
The George is a great little bar/pool hall in Vail Village when you don't want to spend big bucks on typical food at Vail.

Amazing! The hotel staff was extremely nice and very helpful. The shuttle was perfect. it came ever 15 minutes from 8am until 11pm. I was not expecting it to run until 11pm each night. The drivers would drop you off pretty much where ever you were going. The actually condo was extremely clean and was stocked with every lotion, hair care product and shaving product you could imagin. We had a blast and I would definitley return to Simba Run.

Great place for the value
I live in the vail valley and stayed at Simba for the Thanks giving holiday with my family. The price was perfect. Only a few things that were ok. The wireless DID NOT work at all in the condo. If you wanted to use the internet you had to go down to the lobby. Simba run is a CONCRETE building so no wireless in the room. The heat in condo 1527 was VERY touchy, it was either very hot or very cold in the condo. Also the pool was not very warm and the outdoor hot tube was probably in the the high 90's. Also the $10/day to park the car. A bit steep!
