A comfortable hotel in a great location!

My husband and I went to Vail for Labor Day weekend and were surprised and delighted by the Lodge Tower Resort. We were within seconds of walking to Vail Village and the Gormet on Gore event that was going on over the weekend and numerous restaurants, bars, shops and bike/walking paths. The pool was smaller, but despite the hotel being sold out, we had it all to ourselves, along with two private hot tubs looking on to the mountains. The continental breakfast had a European feel with fresh pastries and fruit. A parking garage and covered bike racks were also available and provided. Overall, a great value for staying in Vail within moments of everything.

Hotel was a little dated, but not to a point of complaint. Staff was very helpful and everything was very clean. Walking distance to everything in Vail Village and the lifts. This was our first time in Vail and for the price and location it could not be beat!

Lodge Tower July 4th week

The condo was perfect and exemplary. The staff was professional, the summer village experience is excellent staying at the Lodge Tower. The Vail 4th of July week festivities and America Days parade, with probably record crowds and activity was a great time at this location. As many people as were there, the convenience, comfort and ability to get in and out of the hoopla provided a feeling of fun but also serenity, and enjoyment of the fly fishing. Will stay there again.

great ski week get-away

I'm sure we'll return for a 3rd time sometime soon. You just have to realize it's pretty much impossible to do Vail on a tight budget.

Best location for the Vista Bahn Lift

Best location for the lift - loved the complimentary coffee and cookies in the afternoon.Very comprehensive breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. We ate out every night and good food everywhere though pricey in some restaurants.Room and bathroom was very small, attention to detail needed - both bed headboards were broken and the humidifier was also broken.Boot storage would have been a nice touch and better for the hotels carpets!!Nice pool area and jacuzzi overlooking the slopes.Free internet in the lobby also a plus. Would definately go back again though would probably book an apartment for more space.

Money-saving tip: Not Applicable

Take the local bus from Eagle Airport instead of people carrier taxis and save $45 per person. Bus is $4 runs every hour - takes 45mins to Vail Village bus station.
