Summer in Vail is sweet at the Austria Haus

We have stayed at the Austria Haus (condo side) twice during the winter, but this was our first summer visit. Same great service, same great accommodations. So many options of outdoor activities it is hard to choose. We love the breakfast buffet. The entire service staff is eager to please.

Weekend getaway

The Hotel is located in the heart of Vail village and the staff is very accommodating. The 'extended' continental breakfast included with your stay is a good deal too.

loved Austria Haus!

We stay at the Austria Haus every year and always have the same, wonderful and consistent experience! We can't wait to come back next year. New rooms, bathrooms, etc. I have stayed at the Lodge and Sonnenalp and Austria Haus is equal, if not better in service and quality.

Excellent choice

Smaller hotel, but very nice and great location in Vail Village right on the creek. The free breakfast was excellent, a different spread each day. The concierge was very helpful and had good recommendations. Our only complaints were that the hot-tub wasn't too hot and the heat in our room had some issues. If we had it to do over again, we may have chosen to stay at The Lodge only because it was the same price, it's closer to the mountain, and has a brand new spa/fitness facility.

Russels restaurant: we found it to be the best value for quality food in the Village area. Just across the bridge.

Wonderful European ambiance

Location was perfect. The pool overlooking the creek was stunning. In a crowded weekend in Vail, the hotel was an oasis of charm and comfort. Rarely is a resort charge a good value, but here you get a very good breakfast, free valet parking, and both wifi and a good business center all for $20/day.

Fantastic and great value

This was a two night relax after touring the USA and returning home. I only wish we had spent more time in this hotel. It was so relaxing and the staff were very helpful. The location means you do not have to use a car there is so much to do all within easy walking or use of the free bus service. If you feel like sitting around inside or out this is the place and the pool was in a fantastic location.

Great place to stay.

Perfectly located in the center of town, steps from the bridge and Vail Village, this hotel was a complete joy to stay in. The staff was helpful and friendly. The pool was lovely and intimate. The room was clean and we had a great balcony. Like most places in Vail and the CO mts, there was a $20 per night resort charge included in our bill, but they threw in free parking, which is a lovely bonus in Vail.
