Decent hotel with a great location
The best part of the hotel is the location next to the gondola which takes you down into the town of Telluride. The hotel facilities are nice but nothing extraordinary. The standard room was tiny with little room to move around. The additional $20/night parking fee is a slap in the face.

Our Second Time at this Hotel
This was our second time at this hotel and we enjoyed it very much! The location is perfect - steps away from the Gondola to take you into Telluride with a beautiful view along the way! The rooms are comfortable and clean. Our only complaint is that there is no elevator if you have someone in your party that requires this option.

Great spot!
You get all the benefits of mountain views with free gondola service to town. What a way to travel. Food in the bar was very tasty any night you didn't want to head to town. Staff was extremely helpful.

Shopping tip:
Long walk from hotel
Jagged Edge at the East end of Telluride is an excellent outdoor shop for all your needs. Ride the gondola to town and head east on Main Street.

Too small, too hot
We've stayed here a number of times and always had great experiences. This time, though, our room was little more than a closet in size with no air conditioning. While that normally isn't a factor, the stifling heat and still mountain air made for an overpriced stay in a small sauna. As has always been the case, the parking situation is a joke at this resort and unless you are driving a Smart Car, you will find no room at the Inn.

Dining tip:
Not Applicable
Baked in Telluride was a small local restaurant that had burned down in 2010 and just reopened. Not much in the way of ambiance but the pizza is great and the beer is cold. The view from the new deck is awesome

Great room, very small, stayed during off season (late October)for the price it was great. Checked in around 7:00 p.m. went out to get something to eat.. NOTHING was open, the whole village was closed down. Next time we will plan our vacation a little earlier in the season.

Beautiful setting but disappointing
The room I was assigned was next to the utility room. All night a boiler or generator ran, making sleep challenging. Upon arrival I was informed all on site parking had been assigned. I paid $20 to leave my car in a parking garage 400 yards away. The mountain setting was beautiful but our room was small and the bath tub was occupied by a large spider.

snooty and hot
The Hotel staff was very snooty and arrogant. The lack of air conditioning was a problem as we were unable to sleep during their heat wave. The room was also infested with moths. We will not be back.
