Old hotel, but well updated. Excellent restaurants. 2 complaints: 1) housekeeping didn't show up to clean the room until 4 in the afternoon, so we asked them to skip it; 2) very noisy on the street side of the building late into the night /
morning. Kids were accumulated in a small park next to the hotel until 4 am one night, and there was nothing anyone could do - no noise ordinances, etc. Desk said it was a problem all summer long, but not in the winter when it is cold. HELP!!
Absolutely loved this hotel. Prime location, rich with history, and wonderful customer service. The rooms are on the smaller side, but they are still comfortable. The hotel is walking distance to everything, being at the center of town. Great
night sleep in a comfortable bed. Couldn't ask for much more.
This is a lovely historical hotel that was completely redone so everything is modern and convenient. But they managed to keep the historical look and feel. It is right in the heart of downtown; everything is in walking dstance. Very nice stay.
We were in Telluride for one night on a weekend trip to see Colorado fall colors. The colors were spectacular, the hotel is beautifully restored with new upscale furnishings. Did not eat dinner at the hotel but the breakfast was very good. Only
problems were the parking is not on location and we were awakened several times during the night by loud partying on the street. Stay on the back side of the hotel to avoid the noise. Overall great experience.
