Most Affordable Ski In/Out in Telluride

I tend to stay at mid-level places to control my travel costs, which in Telluride, for the same money, translates into one of the more "affordable" stays in town. I was very happy with the value of my stay. The Manitou B&B is an older but well kept place with a lot of ski-culture character. My room was a rather small 2-story unit with (clean) shag carpet and a love seat/hide-a-bed on the first level and a queen bed/dresser/TV in the loft. The design maximized the limited space and the queen bed was fantastic. The breakfast is self-serve continental with cold/hot cereals, juice, good coffee, fresh breads (think banana bread from local bakery) and fruits. There is a full kitchen for evening cooking available and the commons room is a nice place to meet other travelers. Parking is a little bit of an issue in Telluride and here one parks on the street and walks across a bridge to get to the unit. Not a big deal, especially since its only a 30 second skate-ski to the base of chair 8. That was HUGE. It makes apre-ski at the local places VERY easy. I plan on staying here for my next visit to Telluride.

Nice stay...

It's a great location!! Clean place with a great friendly staff, but if your looking for all the "frills" this is not the place for you! But it's a great place by the creek and close to restaurants/downtown, to hang your things and sleep! That's all we needed, we skied all day and checked out the town! So it's a great way to see Telluride on a budget!
