Lofty rooms
The tennis courts were not useable, the patio needed repair and the pool water was gross. However, the rooms and appliances were very clean.

Spring Break Getaway
We had a wonderful stay at the Legacy Vacation Resort. Our one bedroom condo was very spacious with the master bdrm upstairs away from the living room/kitchen area. They have everything you need when away from home. The pool was a little cold and the hot tub a little too hot but otherwise and great place to stay.

Nice off-mountain ski stay
A clean, secluded hotel about a mile from downtown. A good centralized location for both skiing and nightlife. The only issue was the you had to take a shuttle to use the hot tub which is at a different location. Nice staff too.

Great Place
This hotel was very nice for the money, location, and extras. They have a full shuttle for guests that was very helpful when we wanted to go down town and to the hill.

Mostly enjoyable, with a few hiccups
We went for some weekend skiing. The facilites were very good - in fact they upgraded us for no extra charge from a one room studio to a two-room suite. Rooms were clean and not in need of updating. We had a couple of hiccups, i.e., there was no bedding in the room for the fold out couch, the free shuttle van to the ski area was a good half hour late Saturday morning, and the checkout process took over 10 minutes while the desk clerk figured out how to log onto the system. Beware that after 10pm or so, the front desk is closed, and if you call the front desk after that time, the people that answer the phone are in Orlando. One other querky thing is that they don't do daily maid service - but will bring you whatever you need - so you can remake your own bed.

Needs Work
Ski Trip, March 2011. The Hilltop most likely was most likely a great place to stay 10-15 years ago. Our room had torn walpaper, patched walls, and torn carpet. It was designated a "studio" however, it was basically a standard hotel room with a microwave and refrigerator with very limited kitchen equipment. The shuttle service was great - took us to the slopes and downtown whenever we wanted to go!

Looking for a good getaway
The hotel was very basic. Needs renovation. Staff was fairly friendly and helpful. Had to put up with noisy young people in the halls after 10pm. No wireless in rooms, only in lounge. Fan did not work in bathroom. TV set very small, and bad quality of viewing when we tried to watch a DVD.
