Great Location

Great hotel staff, super friendly and willing to make your stay special. Close to the mall for ski rental. be sure to visit the front desk for a discount card to Incline. Artisan was a great restaurant with an amazing Thanksgiving Meal. The hotel bar was fairly priced and happy hour made it even moreso. We are already planning our return trip, possibly even this season.

Very comfortable off-season stay

My girlfriend and I stayed here on a recent trip to Aspen. Snowmass is about 10 minutes outside of downtown Aspen. The price was reasonable on Orbitz. The staff was super personable and helpful. Loved the hot tub! The restaurant looked pretty good although we ate in Aspen the night we were there. Would definitely stay again.

1 night get-away

We were spending one night in Aspen and chose the Stonebridge Inn becuase it was a special and the reviews were great. The hot tubs were great, probably our favorite part after a long day of hiking around Aspen. The beds were extremely comfortable and we felt like we were melting in to them. There were 4 of us and the room was a nice size where we did not feel like we were constantly bumping into each other and our luggage fit comfortably in the room (the closet was also huge). The bathroom was a bit small but manageable. Only complaint was the hotel said it had air conditioning but it did not. While it was significanty cooler at night, the room was a bit stuffy and the windows did not open very wide to allow a breeze in. Ceiling fan helped some but could have been cooler.

A fantastic experience overall

The staff of the Stonebridge should be commended for making my experience completely off the charts. Because of a late connection, I didn't get into Aspen Airport until about 10:30, and the front desk happily sent the shuttle out for me immediately. The room was clean and well kept, the staff was amazingly friendly, the breakfast buffet was great, the bar was reasonably priced for the area, the stop for the regional public transportation couldn't be more convenient. Just great overall.

Nice Quiet Stay

First time staying in Aspen/Snowmass. Great scenic location with lots of great views. Room was very clean and comfortable although the hotel was a little old and could use a renovation. Good enough to sleep there for one night and take off again the next day. Would stay there again if ever in the area.

Most of Snowmass was closed for off-season. If you visit in May or early June, be prepared to hunt for a place to eat.

Great Service

We stayed here and at the Silvertree during our visit to Snowmass - The Stonebridge was superior in all respects - room was better at a lower price but what was really different was the service. Stonebridge couldn't have been more helpful, friendly, accommodating, etc. Silvertree didn't honor what was committed to in the reservation, lost a ski boot between our car and the room and did absolutely nothing to try to find it. Stonebridge is by far the best value in Snowmass and I couldn't recommend them more highly

Great value, Great service

As a business traveler, I am looking for a clean, comfortable and efficient hotel and Stonebridge was all of these. An unexpected plus was the excellent and friendly service, great hotel food and of course the beauty of the surroundings. The only improvement area is that the shuttle will only take you as far as the airport; most hotels offer shuttles to the town of Aspen, which would have made my stay much more convenient.

it's ok. It is not ski in ski out hotel!

We stayed for 6 nights in December 2010. The room that we booked through [...] was small and dark, but the view was ok. The room has a coffee maker and a little fridge- these features were helpful. The hotel offered a breakfast package, I paid $30.50 plus tax and plus tip each morning for two adults and a child. It is kind of costly, and it was the same menue every single day. No fresh vegetables offered. The service is spotty. Most waiters seemed lethargic. One morning we were completely ignored- no one came to pick up the dirty plates, so we ended up with a table full of dirty plates with leftovers all over. Had to wait for a pot of hot water for 15 minutes. Overall, however, the hotel staff was helpful. Watch out the final check out bill. I was overcharged almost 80 dollars! I had to spend almost one hour in order to resolve it. They charged me the "breakfast package" on the day of arrival ( we checked it at 5 pm, plus other unjustified charges. The hotel is NOT ski in ski out. We had to carry our skies for about 100 meters before we could put them on. The hotel offers a free shuttle that can take you anywhere in the village. This is a good feature for someone without a car. You don't really need a car if you arrive to Aspen airport. The beds are ok, the towels are hardy, not soft, the shower pressure is weak, the room is very warm. The decor is very generic and shabby. We were spending most of our afternoons in the room after skiing from 9 am to 4 pm. The skiing was great!PS. There is an open air swimming pool and a hot tub. My kids went there twice. The water is nice and hot but running back to the room in freezing temperatures was not much fun!

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

If you don't feel like spending a fortune for lunch on the slopes, go to the mall (near the Silvertree hotel) and buy a pizza pie at a take out only pizza place. There are two pizza places in the mall, go to the one that is near the entrance (opposite of the slope side). They also have nice hamburgers and Chilly Hot dogs. Probably the best deal in Snowmass.
