A great buy for Aspin/ Snowmass

Not in aspen proper but a great price for the area and the quality. Most activities in the area are in Aspen proper and the surrounding mountains

Great option

Great location, great service. Interesting layout. The restaurant needs improvement, especially for breakfast. Try the Snowmass Bakery and Cafe for breakfast, you will not regret it. Great ski shops.

excelent ski-in and ski-out

SKI I must advise the Hotel to have more experienced people on the Snowmass rental shop, below the hotel. They fixed so hard my boots on the ski, that I almost broke my leg in a serious fall, which made my ski hit my helmet making a dent on it.

Wonderful ski resort

This hotel was wonderful. With full services with a restaurant, a spa, a gym, and a full staff, our stay was quite amazing. Our family skied while we stayed at this hotel and because this hotel was a ski on ski out hotel, it was very easy to acess the slopes.

Pretty Good Honeymoon

When booking the trip, I googled Ski Vacation for our Honeymoon to Colorado. Aspen was on the top of the list and Snowmass Village, CO was one of the best hotel stay areas. I booked and called to verify that we could ski since I saw that opening day was the day after we left Snowmass Village, CO. The lady at front desk that answered said that there would more than likely be a lift opened as long as it snowed before we got there. I checked the weather every day and saw lots of snow fall before our arrival so I felt great about the trip. When we got there, we find out that Snowmass and Aspen DO NOT open early and we had to drive 2 hours to Vail, CO to ski. That was the only negative about the trip and will probably not go back to the area since it is very busy during ski season. I would rather stay in Vail, CO. Other than that, we were upgraded to a better room with a better view at the Silvertree Hotel.

Very comfortable

We stayed off-season, so couldn't sample everything that was available. However, we found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating, the hotel and location to be beautiful, and the amenities first-rate. We can easily recommend it.

We rented a car, but found that we could easily have gotten by without it. If you don't plan on exploring beyond the reach of the bus service or taxi, save yourself the money.
