Very Nice! Totally what we expected!
A bit outdated. This Inn was very affordable and clean! The hotel staff was very friendly! Free shuttle to and from the airport. Very convenient to stores, restaurants and ski lifts. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi was very clean! If you are expecting the Ritz Carlton, then get out your checkbook! A microwave in the room would have been helpful, if you are trying to ski on somewhat of a budget. Otherwise, it suited our needs. I would stay there again!

Best Place For The Cost...
Seeing other places in the area are way overpriced, this place was a place to shower and lay your head! Walls are paper thin and heard everything around us! Great location, will stay there again, just will bring ear plugs!!!

They definitely tried
Aside from the dude who picked us up from the airport (who had a whiny demeanor as if annoyed he had to do an airport pickup, his only job) the service was pretty good. You could tell the manager really wanted to provide good service... However, the bottom line is, this place is just a dump. It's a great location right next to the mall and the slopes in Snowmass Village, but just remember, it's cheap, it's old, smelly, run down. FYI get a room on the top floor, if you have people above you... you'll never sleep. The stomping is unreal.

For breakfast in the village, skip the overhyped "fuel" and go to the little dill for high quality breakfast burritos. Also.. there is NO good coffee in all of snowmass village. FYI. It's all super weak.

Hotel
The floor is made of wood, you can hear everything, the noise is so annoying ... You can hear what the another room is talking or what movies they are watching ... Horrible!

Great location, good value
Great location, easy walk to slopes. Good continental breakfast. Large outdoor heated pool and hot tub. Good sized rooms, comfortable beds, in room coffee maker and refrigerator. Very reasonable prices to be in Snowmass Village right next to transportation center for Snowmass Village and for trips into Aspen.

Avoid like the plague
This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The price was high, but was the lowest I could find in Snowmass. The rooms had carpet in the bathroom. How DISGUSTING! The maid staff failed to leave fresh soap and shampoo 2 days in a row. The "continental breakfast" that is touted by the hotel was useless. It consisted of canned fruit, english muffins and breads, cold cereal of limited selection, and instant oatmeal. Carb heavy. Real healthy. The beds were probably 20 years old, as were the pillows, and gave me the creeps to use. I will never return to the Snowmass Inn. I wish the previous comments had warned me of all of this.....

Very helpful service.
The room size was great. Extra large. The young man at the front desk was very helpful. When we checked out we left our jackets in the closet. We discovered this in Aspen and called back to see if they would hold them for us. When we returned 4 hours later, the coats were waiting for us at the front desk. It was a pleasure doing business with him.

Would stay there again.
We needed a place to stay near Aspen for a wedding. We didn't want to pay Aspen prices. The price was in our range. The room was clean. They had a ceiling fan but no AC - which may be typical in Colorado. If you need a bed and not a hangout spot it served us well. We were charged $20 on our credit card not sure why. Need to call on that. We didn't know the front desk closes at 9:00. Our name and key were laying outside the front door where anyone could of picked it up.

good value
This is a way to have the "Aspen experience" without paying Aspen prices. The hotel itself is pretty generic, like a super 8. In the summer this area is low key and serene, not busy like Aspen.

There is very convenient free Aspen bus service every half hour from 6AM to midnite just across the street. Aspen itself has highly controlled parking and traffic jams.
