Wonderful Getaway

We went for a softball tourney for my husband. My son and I did not even want to get out of the king size bed! Everyone was wonderful and the place was spotless!

Best Hotel stay ever!!!

This was the best hotel stay my family has ever had and a perfect experience from the moment we arrived!!! We loved the sparkling clean & gorgeous appearance of the spacious lobby. There were very classy furnishing & a business center with computers, printers and fax machines for free usage for guests. We were cheerfully greeted by [...]at the front desk and amazingly happy when we were upgraded from our single room to a suite at no additional charge since I was still getting over a sickness and hoping for a nice, quiet & relaxing evening while our teen daughter was hoping for a fun, active night of movies & music videos! :) From the moment we entered the suite I knew this was going to be a wonderful experience! Both rooms had large flat screen TVs and elegant furnishings. The suite included what I would call a full kitchen with a full size refrigerator with icemaker, stove, dish washer, microwave & coffee maker. It also had a limited suppy of dishes, pans & cooking utensils as well as coffees, teas, hot chocolates & sweeteners. There was a cordless phone, 2 internet outlets and wifi provided free with the access code we received with our room access cards when we checked in.The main bedroom was the delight for me though! The beautiful pillow-top King bed was adorned with a multitude of both soft & firm pillows in addition to the most comfy lumbar pilllow I have ever used. The stunning bedding included super soft & elegant sheets & comforter. To top all of this off there was a gorgeous cherry oak lapdesk, which really came in handy for using our laptop in bed. There was a huge closet that included an ironing board & iron and the bathroom had a hair dryer and lots of nice thick towels & wash cloths. Laundry bags, shampoo, conditioner & lotion were provided in the room but a note informed us they had any other toiletries we might need available to us at the front desk at no additional cost.We had been in the room for maybe 10 minutes when Tom had called us to make sure the room met our expectations and if there was anything we needed. We felt welcome & that our business was definately appreciated! After settling in we all went down to enjoy the hpt tub and unique swimming pool. There werevalso loys of snacks and microwavable foods available to purchase down in the lobby. The sparkling clean pool is incredible! Half of it is OUTSIDE, and half of it is INSIDE, which is very versatile so u can relax out in the sunshine or inside away from the elements. It was truly a sight to be seen and a fave with our 15 year old daughter!! The hot tub was kept at a nice hot temp for those achy muscles and the guests controlled the usages & time of bubbles. There was also a workout room with several pieces of exercise equipment for anyone interested in working up a sweat. We all had a fantastic, quiet & uninterrupted night's sleep. We woke up and headed down to the complimentary breakfast. This was another incredible surprise! We were greeted by [...], one of the friendliest & attentative people we had ever met! She showed us around and made sure we had anything we might need. The choices available were fantastic, all fresh & delicious. There was a waffle maker with fresh batter in addition to scrambled eggs w ham, seasoned potatoes, multiple breads for toasting w jams, bagels w cream cheese, fresh fruits, yogurt, oatmeal varities, muffins, danishes, cereal, milk and 4 different juices in addition to every condiment you could think of. Several varities of hot fresh coffees and creamers were also ready as well as teas & hot chocolates. This was definately not your average FREE breakfast & we left there feeling full, satisfied & ready for a day of activity. Katherine was delightful and made my morning w her charm & welcoming attitude! I have tried to mention anything I feel enhanced our experience during this stay but honestly there are just not words good enough to express how great this place is. I took a lot of time checkin...

You just HAVE to try the Mongolian Grill (listed in the restaurant section of the hotel book in yiur room). It is very reasonably priced and you pick yhe size and all the fresh meats, veggies & sauces you want and watch as it is cooked on a hot grill right in front of your eyes! The food is delicious & truly one of a kind!!!!

Hampton Inn & Suites Pueblo-Southgate

I was staying in town to watch my daughter compete in the Little Britches Rodeo Finals. I did have to ask for batteries for the remote, and ran out of toilet paper. You could also hear through the walls. Since I was at the hotel for a week it would have been nice to have more of a variety for breakfast. Overall, the hotel was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Not what I expected for the price

Hotel was overrun with kids - some kind of local baseball tournament - if we had been told when we made the reservation -would have stayed elsewhere. Kids running up/down halls all evening. No towels first day. Could not get to breakfast next morning - too many kids eating all the food like they'd never been fed. Next night some guest or local setting off fireworks in the parking lot at 2am - nothing was done.

Ate at the Venue. Wouldn't recommend the steak unless you want it cremated.
