Wildflower retreat

The hotel staff was very courteous and helpful with any questions we had. Each day coffee, tea, bottled water was replenished. The condo itself was very spacious and comfortably furnished. After a long day of hiking we were pleased to find that the hot tub was exceptionally clean. This hotel has air conditioning which is great on a hot day, even in the mountains.

Great Ski Getaway

We had a large comfortable room with excellent view and reliable fast internet connection. It is immediately adjacent to the pickup point for the shuttle bus into the town of Crested Butte and within 100 yards of the ski lifts, rental shops, and resort restaurants and shops. Altogether it was a wonderful experience - good weather and snow also added to the great experience.

Family Summer Vacation

June, 2011 - Family Vacation - The Lodge in Crested Butte was a beautiful place. In fact it is was THE place to stay on Mount Crested Butte. The summer rates were very good. The staff was excellent based on their knowledge of the area, service and overall personality. I didn't care for the added $20 a day for parking. Would definetely stay their again and highly recommend to others.

Excellent location for skiers at CB

We quickly realized that staying at The Lodge was the best decision we made. The property is new, very clean, and the location could not have been better: 1. It's a 5 minute walk to/from the Red Lady and Silver Queen lifts; plus all the good on-mountain restaurants like Avalanche Grill, Jefe's, etc. 2. A 2-minute walk to the Transit Center where the free town shuttle stops 3. A 5-minute walk to 2 spas Just spend all your time having fun without being in-transit to anywhere! Awesome.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Work up a BIG appetite on the slopes. Take the free shuttle into the town of Crested Butte. Eat at Slogar's for amazing family-style chicken dinner ($$). Eat at Soupcon for a super splurge ($$$) gourmet dinner. Eat at Pitas in Paradise for the Baklava Sundae ($). Eat at Wooden Nickel for HUGE burgers and steaks ($ to $$$).
