A good value in Montrose
This roadside motel is a very decent value. It is certainly no frills, and it is a bit outdated, but it is clear that the owners try their best to keep it clean and keep you coming back. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Colorado Fruit Run
We have stayed at 3 different Motels in Montrose over the last 4 years and this was about the same as the other motels. My only request would be thicker towels and a bigger pillow. and better access to the Internet, this was a lilttle difficult at best.

One of the cleanest older motels I have ever stayed in. However. The locks on the door was defective--taken care of immediately by management. Beds and lock are in serious need of upgrade.

Affordable and convenient
Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and quiet. Close to shopping. Even took a day trip to Telluride - what a beautiful drive!

The staff recommended Fiesta Guadalajara and The Red Barn for dinner. Both restaurants had good food and excellent service.

Clean, friendly, great breakfast
My husband and I visited during June 2011 for 4 nights. We just wanted a room that was clean, comfortable, convenient, and quiet. I would recommend staying here. We checked in late, after 8PM, and it wasn't a problem, just filled out a card with my name & address and we were handed a room key each. We had reserved a room with a single queen, but this room had an additional bedroom with 2 singles in it as well, in addition to the queen, no charge. OK, works for us, we laid our clothes out on it. Housekeeping was great, made the bed each day, provided clean towels, even provided more soap & shampoo as they were used, without asking. Room was clean, though one of the two trashcans disappeared after day 2... not sure what happened. No big deal though. High speed internet (free wifi) worked great: tip - the code is on the phone in the room (I had to call the front desk and they politely told me I was staring right at it on the phone, lol) They provide a coffee maker in the room, but we never used it because... The deluxe continental breakfast was great. Fresh fruit, variety of fresh bagels, make your own waffles, cold & hot cereals, hot coffee & tea, hot chocolate, orange juice, milk - it was wonderful. The staff was always friendly and helpful. My only complaint - the only reason I didn't rate 5 stars; the bed was not very comfortable. We slept OK, and while the bed & linens were clean, it's definitely time for an investment in new mattresses.

There's lots of good restaurants (Red Barn, Horsefly Brewing Co. fast food, italian food, convenience stores, etc) Within a 5-10 min walk. Great location.

Clean, Sufficient for a Good Sleep
This hotel was clean, comfortable, sufficient for a good night's sleep. It has a clean pool. I was completely satisfied and will stay there again. Best price in the area. The bed was a little firm for my liking but so are most hotel beds unless you get deluxe lodging.
