Wow! Some good, lot of bad.

Spent two nights at this property and would have to say this is the worst "Days Inn" affiliated properties I have ever stayed in (we won't use this property ever again). While their free internet and the bed in my room were both excellent, this property generally is not well maintained, the toilet in my room was stained and awful upon arrival and the room was not made up or cleaned between my first night and second night. General maintenance and cleaning is lacking on the property. They advertise a free morning buffet, but it is almost nothing (worst I have ever seen); they advertise free HBO (not personally a fan of HBO) - but they don't have HBO; I could go on and on. Shame on the Days Inn people for not doing a better job - this property brings your brand into question (time for [...] and [...] to revisit your operating and quality management systems).

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

There is a wonderful wildlife refuge/sensitive lands/nature park just west of this property that is incredible. Don't miss if you stay at this property. Way to go Colorado!

My experience

Had to wait 15 to 20 minutes for staff to appear to check us in. Check in time on conformation was one hour earlier than actual time. Room assigned was not ready. However, the stay was enjoyable and the location was great as was the price.

Price is all you get

Hotel is in need of remodel very dreary and dated, with a lot of clutter around the check in counter. Linen in bathroom stained and needs replacing, pillows had stains on covers. Continental breakfast consisted of pot of coffee, juice machine (broken) and a choice of bagel(no cream cheese offered) and several mini hostess powdered donusts layed out on a tray. Very unappealing, no fruit, no cereal. Overall hotel is not inviting and feels dirty.

Decent for the price, would repeat

convenient; nice staff - no complaints. Needed to see my bike/trailer from the room so I got one on the front side-noisy but what do you expect on street-side.

Convenient

The hotel was convenient to the highway although I was under the impression it was in the city of Longmont so it was still a little bit of a drive to enjoy the amenities of the town.

Days Inn Longmont

Flooring aorund the pool needs to be changed. VERY slippery when wet.....HUGE hazard espically with small children...many times I thought I was going to slip, and our 2 year old did, luckly I had his hand...worst choice for flooring around a pool!!@!!! Need new carpet in rooms. Pretty dirty, did not want to walk on barefoot. Liked the microwave and frige in room....

stay in longmont

When we arrived our room was not ready so they gave us a room that was a smoking room. It reeked of smoke smell(we bought an air freshner to kill the smell) The internet connection was bad sometimes it worked sometimes not. Could not locked the windows(we were in downstairs room). We do not recommend you stay.

Cheap place to stay.

Fairly inexpensive compared to other hotels in the area and was pet friendly. Not the best, but you get what you pay for.
