The travel man
Good, but who put the Exercise Room on the 2nd Floor?
The hotel was nice, but the exercise room was on the second floor. Could not sleep with the pulsating treadmill moving the floor.

the good, the bad, and the really ugly
Priced too high for a hotel that needed to be updated. Noisy ,next to a railroad track. The Super 8 motel down the road would have been a better choice. Hotel gave me a bill that was higher than the price I had been given online thru [...] and then stated that my stay was pre-paid at the [...] price. ??????

My daughter had a softball tournament up in La Junta so we pretty much where at the ball fields most of the time,but the hotel was very nice..Comfortable beds,great breakfast and very clean..

A Good Travel Stop
The Holiday Inn Express at La Junta is close to the road and rail road but with a minimum of outside noise. The room was comfortable to be in and sleep in. No one had smoked in the room previous to our stay, the room had a pleasent smell. The hotel staff was curtious.

Short drive from hotel
There are some areas of intrest within a close drive. Bent's fort for example would intrest American history fans.
