Quick Birthday get away

I was pleasantly surprised by the savings I was able to redeem with by Ortizbucks. I was very pleased with this hotel and the room was one of the best lay outs that I have stayed in. I will definitely stay here again. Staff was awesome, very friendly and very accommodating.

Great downtown location

Excellent location on main street, convenient to places to eat, easy access to Colorado National Monument and about 20 minutes to Palisade for peaches and wine tasting. Breakfast included in price helps.

A luxurious getaway

We wanted a little getaway and found this hotel. It was more expensive than other places, sure, but soooo much nicer. Great staff. Great modern room (nice enough to live in, really). Good breakfast. The one small drawback was the $5 parking fee for an outdoor, unsecured lot. Really? Otherwise, it was a great place to stay, and we'll stay there again.

Great fun for my grandchildren's first 'Suite' experience!

They were so-o impressed -from the 'cool' entrance with the bar and blue curtain - to the 'TWO" bathrooms !!! a GREAT memory for my 10, 9, and 7 year olds. Thanks

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Chinese resturant with 'just what we needed' at 8:30 pm (can't remember it's name - but was just 'down the street' , in a mall area)

Cool, Contemporary Hotel

We loved this hotel because it's so much our style -- very modern, hip, chic. We're city slickers and think it would fit in any big city, no question!, which is why it was so surprising to find it in Grand Junction, where everything else is themed old west and cowboys. It has all the modern conveniences, including decently fast wifi, a nice complementary breakfast including outdoor seating, a tiny pool (LOL), and a lounge area near the bar, behind diaphanous blue curtains. A distinctive feature of our suite was the split bathroom: one room had just a toilet and sink behind pocket doors with frosted glass; the other had the shower and a sink. Interesting.

Dining tip: Not Applicable

We got into town around 9:30 pm, and hadn't had dinner. Unfortunately, just about every restaurant in the area closes at 10. The only place we found that wasn't fast food was a nearby bar/restaurant where we were able to get bar food. Also, be aware that in Colorado, you can get carded up to age 50. I guess them young'uns really know how to pull one over on bar owners.
