Located just west of Walker Field Airport off the interstate, the La Quinta Inn & Suites Grand Junction is the place to stay when visiting the western slope of the Colorado Rockies. We have Golf Packages in conjunction with local golf courses, and are close to all shopping and great restaurants, wine tours, biking trails, white water rafting, and fabulous ski areas. From here, it is an easy drive to Colorado National Monument and the Grand Mesa. If you are in town visiting Rocky Mountain Health Plans, the US Government Offices, West Star Aviation, and Mesa State College, this is the place to stay. Weekend getaway

A nice, clean, spacious room. The good news is that they allow pets which is very important to us. The bad news is that the "pet floor" was the third floor. Had to go up and down elevator every time the dog needed to go out. Possibly first floor would make more sence?

Nice location, nice room, extremely poor housekeeping

Stayed at the GJ La Quinta for a week and overall the experience was decent. Nicely located with easy access to main thorofare and airport. Room was suffiently large, bed was comfy, layout was nice, bathroom roomy. Continental breakfast was well stocked and never ran out of items. Fridge in room did not work so all our perishables went bad and had to be thrown out, found a half eaten dog bone and bottle caps on the floor from previous occupant(s), bathroom door stuck and was VERY hard to open. Toiletries were not properly resupplied without asking. Overall, a decent value for the money, but given that some things that should be standard (such as a clean floor) were lacking I would try another comperable hotel, such as The Holiday Inn exress next door.

Average hotel, Clean Room, Comfortable Beds

Clean and comfortable rooms. Beds were great! The staff was friendly and very helpful. Some of the amenitites need updating... ex tv.

The beds were horrible and the hvac system was all over the place, WAY OVERPRICED, the Breakfast was the WORST I have ever seen, wt f happened La Quinta? is the local manager embezzling? because he sure as hell charges almost twice as much for rooms there as they go for in denver and you sure as hell are not spending money on the Breakfast

Good place to stay

This was a trip to attend a funeral and visit old friends. The lodging was perfect for this purpose. Some remodeling was going on which made it a bit inconvenient, but certainly necessary. Breakfast was excellent, both food and facility.

Excellent stay

Quick checkin. Clean nonsmoking room. Easy access from major highway and good location close to plenty of attractions. Friendly staff.

Good location

The hotel is right near the freeway which is great. I was disappointed in the stains on the upholstered chairs. The cleaning seemed to be okay and th staff was friendly.

Very pleasant stay

We were all very pleased with everything about our stay. We will be seeking out other opportunities to stay at La Quinta's elsewhere. That late checkout was perfect for our group as we had a marathon day when we checked in.
