Grand junction visit
We had a quick trip to visit friends in grand junction and enjoyed our experience at GrandVista. Everything we wanted for a quick trip. It was reasonably priced clean with friendly staff. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Its location just as you came into town madeit easy to find and great for launching trips into the city or outdoor sites. Overall just what we wanted

pool was closed:(
i stay at this hotel about 5 days a month. i have never been uhappy because overall it is a great value, but this time i had a lot of noisy people around me, the pool was closed (and i was not informed of that ahead of time) and although they offered pool passes to a different hotel- one that was a few blocks away- when my sons came back from swimming at the other hotel, they reported that the pool was so murky they could not see their feet, and the next day our whole room smelled like sewer- it was their bathing suits.. UGH, gross..... i'd just check ahead of time about the ppol, they said they had no idea when their own pool would be open again :(

travel alone forever
Limited Late-Night Food Options in the Area
The hotel was great - good location, clean, etc. I arrived a little later, around 11pm. Being Sunday, I knew my food options would be meager at best. All the places you'd think would be open - Denny's, local diners - were closed. Luckily I found an Applebee's further down the street that was open until 1am.

Cheap Stay
The price is great, however, you get what you pay for. It was fine for staying one night but I wouldn't stay any longer. It is probably worth it to spend a little extra for a cleaner/ nicer experience.

Great Value & Staff
My second time staying at this hotel. Super responsive and friendly staff. Rooms/beds/linens were very clean. This is a tremendous value in Grand Junction and we will stay here the next time our travels take us to this part of the state.

It wasn't a bad stay.
This is where we usually stay when we come to GJ, we love the price. But, it smells of chlorine. And the rooms could have been cleaner.

Can't beat the price
I stay here 2-3 times a month and for the price, it's a clean, quiet, comfortable room. I have tried many others in town but i find this the best value.
