Check in was speedy after long trip. Beds were very comfortable with good selection of pillows. Breakfast was excellent with good choice.Staff were all very nice people to deal with. Easy access onto Interstate 70

Denver West/Golden Hampton Inn,
Breakfasts were good, room appointments were very good including especially beds and linens, there were 3 stars of comfort and quiet if you go by my system of 1 star abysmal, 2 stars good and normal for less than $100 per night, and 3 stars is above and beyond in quality for this price range, 4 stars I can't afford and therefore have no experience with that level, pool was warm, location fairly good, service very attentive. Excellent place.

Greeat Hotel, Very Comforatble Beds
Dropping of Son at local college, spent 3 nights there. Good value for the price and good location near School of Mines

Good place to stay
The hotel is difficult to find at night off of US Route 6 - even with a map, which I had. That said, it was very nice when I got there - friendly and helpful reception and a nice, quite room. It was probably the nicest of about seven motels I stayed at during a pleasure trip to Colorado.

If you're tired of driving, and I was on a miserable rainy night, there's an excellent pizza place a short walk from the motel. The receptionist will steer you.

Nice location
I read the reviews before booking. Some said that the rooms and hotel need to be updated. But a recent review had said that there room had been updated. so i guess that we must have gotten an old room. The only other negative I would say is that the pool was dirty and small. Staff was great helping with directions.

Top Notch
The Hampton Inn in Golden Colorado was top notch. Both my check-in and check-out were handled quickly and efficiently. The room was super-comfortable with a soft bed and many pillows. Though located close to downtown Golden, the Hampton Inn was quiet and pleasant. All the staff went out of their way to be accommodating. The whirlpool was a real treat, especially after dashing around freezing-cold Denver all day.
