Courtyard by Marriott Denver West/Golden

The room is clean and staff is friendly. Nice location close to Colorado Mills mall. The price is inexpensive.

Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was excellent and a great value. Rooms comfortable. Great location for accessing major highways so it was great for sightseeing.

This is a nice property in a good location. Denver is an expensive market and some locations are way over priced. This isn't one of them. West Denver (Golden) is a good location for us. Not far to downtown, but quiet and secure. Good restaurants in the area (240 Union is a local favorite) and very decent breakfast on site. (Not free, but appropriately priced.) Plenty of parking and good elevator access. The room was clean, attractive, and nice television. Was surprised not to find a small refrigerator or microwave, which have become pretty standard. Will stay here in the future.

The hotel was nice,the rooms were clean, it was close to where we had to be. However, we were taken for thirty-dollars one of your housekeepers took thirty-dollars out of my wifes wallet, it happened on Saturday June 11, 2011, we didn't know the money was missing until we were heading back to the airport to catch our flight home. My sister had left us fifty dollars to help with expenses. She told us she had put it in my wifes wallet, when we went to look there was only twenty dollars in her wallet.

First time staying in Colorado, skiied and snowmobiled, hotel was very clean, bathroom was very clean, could have used a fridge in the room but made do without one, when I stay at a hotel I am a stickler for a clean room and bathroom and I was very satisfied, only two complaints though, one was the clorine smell throughout the first floor, very pungent, luckily we stayed on the 2nd floor. The other complaint was the heating and cooling system, they have a window unit but it is controlled by a thermostat on the wall, you set the temp for either cool or heat and after the first night running the heater, the next morning something must have fried in the unit because the room smelled like an electical fire took place, called the front desk and they had it fixed by the time we got back to the room, the complaint I have is if you want to cool the room down and the unit is not blowing cold enough air, it will stay on until the room reaches temp. which ours ran all night. Ohh, the other complaint was they had a buffet breakfast which was very very good but you had to pay for it,,,,other than that very satisfied.

I had business in Denver and took my wife with me so we could stay a couple extra days to ski. It is about 1 1/2 to 2 hours drive to Breckenridge and Vail, so it was a very convenient location for us. Breakfast at the hotel is a buffet that is similar in appearance to the free continental breakfasts that are served at other hotels where I have recently stayed, but this one was not free. There are no signs to indicate this, so we were a little surprised when we were presented with a bill as we were finishing our breakfast.

Stayed here on my way to go to ski area. Great location with shopping mall/center nearby (not walking distance though) Near Golden, CO. Rooms were what I expected from Courtyard Marriot - clean and comfortable - no frig though. Price was very good with free parking.

Didnt stay long, my only compliant is that the TV's could be updated and get a better picture, some channels had static.

Had reserved a King room for 3 nights - upon check in - room was located right next to elevator. After traveling all the way from Florida, we did not want to be disturbed by "dings". Went downstairs and spoke with [...], who was very helpful, about changing rooms. No problem to change, however, the king rooms did not come with microwave or fridge (the hotel sheet said they did-this was one of my "musts" for my stay). Went back downstairs and clerk explained only the "double" rooms have the fridge and microwave. Once again, [...] had no problem changing our room to the double. A bit of a rough start after a long trip; however, the customer service was exceptional. All in all - a great stay!

Over all our experience was great! The rooms are a bit small, but the beds are very comfortable. The housekeeping didn't leave towels one day.
