Great hotel, but make sure you don't get charged twice
This is one of my favorite mountain hotel getaways. It's right next to the Colorado River and the double queen rooms are very spacious and include a refrigerator and a couch. As some reviewers have mentioned, the carpets are old and the side doors were not locked at night. These were minor issues to me, but worth mentioning. The only problem I had was I found out the next day that the hotel charged me again even though I had prepaid through Orbitz. I called and a clerk said other people had the same problem so he had me call a manager the next day. I did get a refund 5 days later, but it took a couple of calls. It may have been a fluke, but it was an inconvenience. Besides that, my experience at this hotel was positive.

Good Place to Stop
It was very easy to find, right of the interstate. Staff was friendly and place was clean. The river is right out the back of the hotel and there was a nice sidewalk. Only recommendation, bring a towel, the ones provided are TINY.

Nice Location
A great view from the river side of the hotel, with the Colorado River only a few yards away. Not too many resturants close, but city is a few minutes away and has a lot of good places to choose from.

GREAT BIRTHDAY GETAWAY!
We went to Glenwood Spings for my birthday and had a GREAT time. Did the hot springs and enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub at the hotel. Both were very enjoyable, my being disabled loved the use of water. We couldn't have had a better time. ALL the staff were great. he staff couldn't have been more helpful. We were able to check in early, the room was VERY clean and comfortable. Loved all the pillows and the bed was so comfortable. The river view was awsome and the sounds of some trains and the river were very enjoyable!! I would stay there again and again and would recommend it to anyone, whatever there stay was for.

Almost perfect but not quite.
Our room came with a kitchen table, sink, microwave, and refrigerator-freezer. We stayed 3 nights but they didn't clean the room one day. The breakfast was descent with eggs, saugage, waffles and so on. The swimming pool water was cold but the hot tub was nice. The room shower flow was way too restrictive. Next time bring your own shower head and pliers. They had a complimentary drink in the evening available across the street. [...]

The Brew Pub restaurant had good food and atmosphere. Russo's Pizza in the Meadows is very good but not a fancy atmosphere.

Excellent Hotel
This is a great hotel. Especially for the price. It was quiet, clean, spacious, had a flat screen tv, very nice decor, and the continental breakfast was not continental. Waffles, fruit, cereal, eggs, sausage, bagels, muffins, juice, yogurt, etc... Much better than expected. The bed wasn't the softest, but you're talking to someone that normally sleeps on a memory foam unit. The hotel even had a riverside patio with grills for guests to use. The room also had a great view of the river. I will definitely be back.

Don't go to a restaurant that starts with "te" and ends with "quilas." Not horrible but corporate chain burrito places are better and half price.

It was great!!!
This trip was great for a weekend get away from the city. I went to Glenwood Springs for a weekend of nothing but snowmobiling. Totally worth it!

Great stay in a beautiful place
Attended a conference in Glenwood and chose this for lodging. Great choice. Good price, good location, extremely clean. Super-comfortable beds. Breakfast had several good protein choices as well as the standard continental breakfast options.

Great stay
The hotel is located on the newer side of Glenwood. It was very clean, had comfy beds and a great breakfast that was included in the price of room. Continental breakfast- we were expecting donuts and coffee but were pleasantly suprised to have a waffle bar, eggs, sausage, yogurt, good coffee, a variety of breads, english muffins, fruit, cereal, oatmeal. Very nice! For comparable prices, this hotel was a gem!

Unbeatable location for the price
The staff was very friendly. Perfect location for white water rafting and biking. Not far from the Hot Springs.

Definitely hike hanging lake and ride the bike trail along the Colorado Trail. The bike trail is 16 miles one way but, very scenic.
