Bad Choice!

We wanted to have a runaway evening, and left wishing we saved the money a stayed home. We paid (extra)for a suite and was given reg. room. When asked we were told they overbooked and could not accommodate [...]. Then the hot tub was ice cold. We were woken at 6am by noisy neighbors. I would not stay here again.

Nice hotel/problem using hotel points

While the desk clerk handled the situation professionally, the hotel would not give me hotel points on my Hilton Honors account because I booked on [...]. I resent getting treated differntly based on how I booked my room.

Decent

The hotel front desk staff was excellent and very helpful. They even had a toothbrush when my girl had forgotten hers at home. The room was clean when we got there but it was never cleaned while we stayed. We didn't really need it to be cleaned or made except we had to go to the front desk to get towels to shower with. We were on the first floor and the noise was horrible. Between the parking lot, kids running up and down the hallway and the cleaning crew starting their rounds earlier, we were not able to relax as we had hoped. Not a bad place but definitely not our first choice.

Juicy Lucy's has awesome steaks and a wonderful wine selection. The service staff is very knowledgeable and helpful when asking questions concerning the meals and the wines. They are very punctual and everyone helps to take care of eachothers tables. Our water glasses were never below 3/4 full. It is a bit pricey but well worth it. We hit it up everytime we head to Glenwood.

Could Have Been Better

This hotel is fairly close to the hot springs and downtown area. If you stay here, make sure to request a room that is NOT over the indoor pool area. There seems to be no soundproofing between the pool and the rooms, and the very audible noise from the pool continued until late at night. The fire alarm started going on and off about 6 AM. The phones don't work when the fire alarm does, so you can't call down to the front desk to find out if there's a malfunction. The internet code that was given to me at check-in didn't work early the next morning, which was an additional inconvenience. The Hampton has a guarantee if you aren't happy, but the staff was very careful not to ask if I was happy or not. Call me Sleepless in Glenwood.
