Wonderful staff, great price, very clean
Staff was very nice, glad to have us as guests and genuinely welcomed us. The room is not huge, but comfortable and very clean, bathroom modern, clean and great water volume in the shower. We took one of the limited second floor rooms and were treated to great views of Mt Sopris and from the comfortable balcony/entrance could enjoy down valley views and fresh air. If you want a nice place to stay that frees up money for meals or shopping this is a great place to stay. Highly recommended and we'll stay here again.

Clean, well kept

Always a great stay!!
This hotel located just a mile from the interstate and is always a stop for us on our way to visit family in Denver. I am never disappointed when I stop here. I always get treated like family by the staff!! The rooms are very clean!! I always sleep good knowing that.

Great Service
Stayed here. Service at check-in and check-out was quick and professional. They were a great help and very informative. Rooms were fresh and spotless; clean and the beds were comfortable. Nice free breakfast. There’s a good Mexican restaurant next door. I would definately recommend this hotel to others.

Great Area and Lots of Fun!
We love this town. We stayed here for a couple of nights and it was great. The bed was comfy and the room was very cozy. We checked in after 9:00 but gave them a call before and they were super cool. The backdrop of mountains was pleasant. It’s a mile from the interstate. Overall very cool place to stay!

REALLY?????
room was small and cold it smelled horrible and the carpet was matted down and had a wax type feel to it the beds were hard as rocks and flat and the pillows were the same the hot water lasted 5 minutes and went straight to cold.we cut our trip short because of this place and i am thinking about going to the doctor just to make sure i didnt catch anything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Highly recommended
The location was very convenient. The room was clean and very cozy. The manger was very friendly – a really warm person who treated customers like dear guests. And it was a great price!

Frontier Lodge- no heat!
For each room there is only one heater/AC unit that is in the bathroom sink area not near the bed and in my room (114) there was only one of two heating elements working and the safety cover was missing. I complained to the manager about how cold it was (heat was off when I checked in and about 50 degrees in the room) and he tried to blame it on my gloves resting on the heater (they were wet from snowboarding). I know my gloves where not the reason it was so cold in the room, and he seemed not to really care about my comfort. The heater had been going for at least two hours and was blowing luke-warm air, not hot air. I could also smell alcohol on him and he may have been drunk. I really did not appreciate his dismissive attitude about the heat, and he acted annoyed when I wanted an extra blanket. I would not recommend staying there to anybody, there are better hotels that my friends stayed at up the road in Carbondale. Also the tub drain did not work and after I took a shower (at least I had hot water!) I had to leave the tub full of water.
