We'll be back

Easy to find, spotless, great price, breakfast, lovely neighborhood for walking, indoor/outdoor pools, picnic/BBQ facilities, apple trees, and quiet. I'd come back here. We should have extended our stay here and made our visit to Aspen into a day trip.

2-Day Getaway

This was the second time we stayed at Cedar Lodge Motel. It's just a short drive to the Hot Springs pool and near many fast-foot restaurants. Again, we found it to be perfect for our needs-just a comfy, clean, quiet place to rest after a activity-filled day. We checked in after hiking to Hanging Lake! This is a must hike for any Coloradan or anyone who wants to see a beautiful aquamarine lake with a beautiful waterfall! Short but pretty steep-1020' gained in 1.2 miles. On Day 2 we hiked along Grizzly Creek, another picturesque hike with many photo opportunities and a little fishing along the way. A soak in the motel hot tub felt good after two days of hiking. This motel is definitely a good value. We'll return again soon. The one area that could be improved was the breakfast in the Breakfast Room. Just minimal offerings-nothing special.

Perfect for a quick trip

This motel is a great value especially for a quick trip. Unlike many motels in Glenwood you do not hear any road traffic. It had been quite a few years since my last stay here but the rooms are kept up well and are clean.

basic but clean

We were very busy rafting, lounging at the hot springs and enjoying Glenwood Springs to speind much time in the room. It was basic but clean, so fine if you did not spend a lot of time there. The price seemed a little high given the accomodations.

Very pleased

We made a stop in Glenwood Springs after moving my girlfriend's sister to Durango. We were extremely happy with the Cedar Lodge. The room was very clean. Other hotels/motels in this price range did not have the indoor and outdoor pool and sauna. We stayed in other chain hotels on the trip that weren't nearly as nice. We look forward to revisiting G.S. and staying in at the Cedar Lodge again.

We ate at the Riviera and it was really nice. From the bartender to the hostess to the server, the service was excellent and the food was great. They even provided us with suggestions on what to see and do in Glenwood Springs. Really nice people.

Clean!!

Nice and clean older facility. Small, but nice indoor and outdoor pools. Continental breakfast was really well maintained and fresh food was continually added. Easy location to find and was nice and quiet!

We loved the Glenwood Caverns, the Gondola ride, and attractions for children and adults. Selecting and getting a geode cut was the highlight of the day-and it was so reasonably priced! We had a great time!

Perfect for a long-term stay

Just spent one night here, but was very impressed, especially with the stigma that many "motels" have associated with them. The staff was very friendly and the room (two queen beds) was incredibly clean and spacious, including a full kitchen, two separate bedrooms, and plenty of living space. Free continental breakfast, free wireless internet, and a small outdoor swimming area with pool and hot tub make this a great place to settle in for an extended vacation in Glenwood Springs. The cheap price and indoor ski/bike storage space are some other pluses too.

Stay was pleasent. Room was clean and in order. Staff was friendly. The free breakfast is fine if you want lots of carbs and sugar...but some fresh fruit would be nice.
