Best Western Ft Collins
We stayed two nights at this hotel and had a great time in spite of weather and transportation issues. The rooms were comfy and quiet with full temp control. The voicemail light kept blinking but we smply ignored it and was no bother.. The pool, hot tub and workout area were a nice addition to the property. Breakfast was effiecient and worked well for our group. For folks visiting CSU this is a good choice. Notably helpful staff and shuttle service.

Good location for the price
My brief stay in Fort Collins (over a weekend), was overall good. My one warning is that this hotel was very noisy. We had a first floor room and between people staying above us, construction in a room 2 doors down, and foot traffic (I'm guessing from the college), our stay was loud, to say the least. The room did come with complimentary ear plugs, so I'm guessing this has come up before. But still, difficult to sleep. Other than that, though, everybody was very nice. Amenities were great with a refrigerator and microwave in room. Indoor pool and hot tub were also a nice add-on.

Great Location for Meeting on CSU Campus
I was nervous when I pulled up to the hotel because some of the rooms are the kind that open to the outside, but they have a building behind those that have rooms that open to hallways. The building is old but the room I stayed in was up to date, nice, and spacious. I was able to walk to where I needed to be on the CSU campus and it was an easy drive to their old town/downtown area where there were great restaurants and shops. I did not use the pool or workout room so I don't know what those are like.

Jax Seafood Restaurant was very very good! And Monday night is their happy hour all night which includes certain drinks and appetizers.

Cat smell
The hotel room I booked in a no-pet, no-smoking area, turned out to be filled with cat-urine smell, unbearable. The manager refused to relocate me. A sad experience!

Good deal
Had a wonderful stay. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Needed a Ethernet wire for my computer, called the front desk to check they had one before going to get it and the person on duty brought it to my room. Bed was very comfortable, and there were plenty of nearby restaurants to eat at.

Great location in Old Town
The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean. It was not a new place, but it was updated. My only complaint was the small window in the shower, which had to be open because the bathroom got too hot otherwise. The pool and hot tub were very nice. It's right across from the college if you need to be close to there and it's not too far from Old Town - a short drive or bike ride, or a nice walk.
