One night stay

70$ studio for one night for my girlfriend an I, very clean room and bathroom. Mini fridge, small stove and microwave, newer TV and an alright bed. Great view of Estes and very short drive to Rocky Mountain National Park. Room was slightly warm but opened the windows and fans made it just fine. Will be my go to for stays in the area! Staff was very nice and helpful with directions.

Looks good, but....

At first glance this place seems quite the catch. It's in a good location (but Estes is pretty small), right across from the brewery! Hill top, among trees. Kind of hidden. Then there were problems: pool, hot tub, restaurant all closed. If you're not on the 'city side' of the hotel, then your view is of the parking lot. Some strange engine humming noise at night. Renovation was loud. Staff assistance?? Alarm clock was BRIGHT...I unplugged it. No food options and no directions to point to food options. This place seems to reek of corporate mis-management. It's all about the numbers and the quaintness and relaxation are gone. I came here to relax and get away. I left more tense than at arrival. Won't stay here again. While basically nice, it wasn't much different than a Comfort Inn or $50/night place

Simply Amazing

Boyfriend and I went up to hike at RMNP and they was doing a special on this hotel, so we booked it and were both ecstatic when we got there and saw it. I've stayed at a lot of hotels at around what I paid and I wasn't expecting anything spectacular, but when we got there, the staff and other guest were all really friendly, and the hotel was beautiful. We got up to our room, and it was nicer than some apartments I've stayed in. It had a kitchenette, 1.5 bathrooms, two TVs, tons of windows and a window seat. I can say that this was definitively one of the nicest hotels that I've stayed at, and my boyfriend (who grew up staying at 4/5 star hotels) agreed. The only point to note is that there didn't appear to be any AC in the room. It was beautiful out, so we opened the windows and felt great, but I don't know how nice it would be in the middle of summer.

Disappointing

Estes is beauiful, but this was not the best place to enjoy it. The room was incredibly hot and what few amenities were available were hard to find. No restaurant service and no staff until we were checking out. The rooms were old and did not smell good.

OK for a quick stay near RMNP

My room was really hot, couldn't sleep well. Other than that it was fine. I really liked the fire place and open areas to hang out downstairs

Quiet with a view

The hotel was very nice. It's like renting a little apartment in the middle of the mountains. It was very quiet. It is a little hard to find, but the location adds to the serenity of the stay. The room was very clean. The studios are perfect for two people. I would recommend this hotel to others.

The Estes Park Brewery is walking distance from The Crags, but there are no sidewalks. It has great food and wonderful craft beer.

Wonderful location

The location and Motel are beautiful. But the negative included that it was so hot in the room that we had to open the windows to sleep. We were told that there is no way to turn the head down further. Also, they allowed a wedding to continue past midnight, so loud that we chose to leave, end our reservations. Bless the travel agency, who had our stay refunded. Again though, the hotel is beautiful, we just were not allowed to use any of it, because the wedding party took use of everything. The lobby has 2 fireplaces, with real wood burning, very nice, we just could not sit at either.
