great for hikers

We wanted a locally-owned and -operated property, not a generic, could be anywhere, chain. That's exactly what we got. It's very close to Rocky Mountain National Park. The staff was extremely helpful with specific hiking advice. It's great for families as they have quiet time from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m. We felt like we were among friends. The room didn't have any extra space, but our family of four had enough room.

The inn rooms are spotless and mountain views spectacular. The room rates are reasonable and include WiFi. We definitely will stay there again and highly recommend the Alpine Trail Ridge Inn to those looking for a comfortable and CLEAN place to stay.

Nice and clean

Great little motel, very friendly staff, and nice location. No cell phone coverage (Verizon), but that's not their fault. The walls are a little thin, but that's the only quibble we had. Would stay there again without hesitation.

Alpine Trail Ridge Inn

The rooms were clean. The staff was friendly and it was close to fantastic dining. Didn't like how thin the walls were for being close to the highway. You could here every vehicle driving by.

Don't judge a book by its cover

This is one place that won't make a very good impression from an initial outer appearance but once you check in you'll soon find a clean and quiet room with a great view of the mountains. We enjoyed our stay and the staff went an extra mile by having pink roses in our room as we arrived for our anniversary stay!

Our stay was just fine!

The curb appeal of this motel is nothing special, but our room (with king bed) was more than adequate and was SPOTLESS! We arrived well before check-in time and let office know we had arrived in the area. They checked to see if our room had been cleaned, and then was happy to make it available to us. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our one small complaint was that the heater was a little noisy. We would recommend this motel as a clean, fairly inexpensive place to stay.

Solid choice

The Alpine Trail Ridge Inn is a clean and comfortable but no thrills motel. The pool is nice, the staff is friendly and knowledgable, but there is no fitness center and the rooms are fairly small. I felt that the price was a bit high considering what the motel offered, but you are paying for the location. It is only about a mile from downtown Estes Park and their rates are comparable to other lodgings in the area.
