ExtendedStay Deluxe DTC-S

The objective was to stay in a low cost hotel for an extended period of time (12 straight nights). Unfortunately, the room was not very clean and it smelled of smoke (even though listed as non smoking). I previously stayed in a Hampton Inn and Hyatt. Both were much cleaner and the management staff was more responsive to needs/concerns. I am not one for complaining as I will check out early and move on. Keep my comments to myself and write-off the bad experience. But since the manager of the hotel was non responsive and dismissed my after mentioned problems. I would not recommend this hotel to my enemies.

After making the late check-in reservation allowance, we got a room with people's stuff still in it (unmade bed, dishes, food boxes). The late-night staff didn't have a list of unoccupied rooms so we went in search of one with the knock-knock hello method at 0225 in the morning. The shower didn't have any soap in it so I was glad I brought my own. I can't fault the late-night staffer, he was left with a situation that he had no reason to have to deal with. At least we were able to find an unoccupied room to eventually retire.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was a decent size and pretty clean. The bathroom had a great vent so the shower did not turn the room into a sauna. This place is also pet friendly which was welcoming even though I was not traveling with a pet at the time - will keep in mind if I am ever in Denver again!

Not a good experience from the start. Room was not what we were thinking; and then the staff charged us $10/night more for what we did book. Got to the room and it was in bad shape. Dirty, stained furniture/carpet, cracked tiles, etc. When discussed with manager in the morning, he eluded to it not being their problem "I hate [...], personally and professionally". We checked out and booked out. Then remembered we forgot our pillows there. Called shortly after and to no suprise our pillows are missing. Booked hotel because it was a 5 out of 5 [...] rating, but I hope this review paints a more accurate picture.

This hotel was awsom. It is only like a 15 - 20 minute walk from the light rail station and from there you can pretty much get anywhere that you want to go. from downtown all the way to the airport.

The hotel staff were very friendly, if I had any problems, they fixed it right away. The room was great!!!! It was spacious and comfortable! It could have had a dish washer in it but other than that I loved it! I ecspecally liked the fact that it had an oven in it not just a range. The amenidies just as the laundry room was well priced and easy to access. All of my stays there have been wonderful!!! I would stay here anytime I needed a hotel, and I will recommend this place to everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
