Fourth of July Getaway
The hotel was in a beautiful little city. I wasn't too impressed with the room when we got there, it had an unpleasant smell, the carpets needed to be cleaned, the floor in the kitchen was dirty and sticky, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned from the last 5 guests, we had hardly anything to cook with in the kitchen and had to continually go to the front desk and request things that should have been in the room. The staff was actually very friendly and helpful anytime we needed anything.

ONE NIGHT GETAWAY
FOR THE MOST PART IT WAS ENJOYABLE. WE STAYED HERE DUE TO A WEDDING WE WERE ATTENDING. IN THE MORNING WE WERE WANTING COFFEE AND THERE WAS NONE IN THE ROOM AS THERE NORMALLY IS AT ANY MOTEL. THE ICE MACHINE WAS DOWN ON THE FIRST LEVEL. IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT WE HAD TO GO DOWN TO THE ICE MACHINE. (MOST MOTEL-HOTELS )HAVE ICE MACHINES ON ALL LEVELS. OTHER THAN THAT THOSE ISSUES THE WORKERS WERE VERY PLEASANT.

We went to the Thrifty Shoppe and found ski gear that we would have normally bought from Walmart. We found great stuff for great prices.

Great rates, Bad Temperature
I understand that the outside temperature was below freezing, but our room shouldn't have been. We got to our room around 3:15am, and it was so cold that we had to sleep with all of our street clothes on!! Even with the window unit heater on all night, we still woke op in a cold room. We will not be returning to The Silverleaf. Great rates, bad temperature.

Decent Hotel Friendly staff
Upon checkout we found a beer bottle under our bed from people before us. The maid never came while we were there to replace towels either. The location was good with nearby restaurants. Hotel was quiet. We drove a half hour to Vail everyday so it wasn't far from Vail.

Good place to stay - no extras
We were in town for specific activities and knew we wouldn't be spending much time at the hotel. Room was clean and staff was nice. The kitchen was nice since we were out early and were able to fix breakfast prior to leaving. No pool or work out facility. Free internet access.
