Welcome to Durango, the heart of Colorado and number 39; old and new west. Durango has been a bustling railroad town since the 1880s and today you can still ride the historic steam train from downtown, just a short drive from the Super 8, through the beautiful San Juan Mountains, to the quaint mining town of Silverton. If you are looking for a little more excitement, you can swoosh down the slopes of the nearby Durango Mountain ski resort in the winter, raft the raging Animas River during the spring snow melt, or golf in the lushness of a high mountain summer at the famous Hillcrest golf course. You can finish your day by enjoying a delicious meal in any of the town's excellent restaurants and then return to your comfortable room for a good nights rest. The next morning, to speed you on your way, we provide coffee makers in all our rooms so that you can have your first cup as soon as you wake up. You get what you pay for

If you're looking for cheap, this is it. But keep in mind that you get what you pay for. Not impressed. It will only be in desperation that I would stay here again. Staff was great, but that's all it's got going for it. Beds were hard as a rock, as were the chairs. Not enough tables for the continental breakfast so we couldn't even sit down to eat.

Good for one night.

Would like to say thank-you to Arlene who made our stay a pleasant one, When we arrived after along travel day at 5:00 PM our room was not ready. She accommodated us with an upgrade and saved the day so we could have a pleasant overnight stay. Thank-you Arlene.

The hotel was well located for the airport location. The room was spacious and clean and suited my needs. The cost was a little high for a Super 8 but was still lower than many motels in the area.

Good Enough

For the cost, you are less than 10 minutes away from the Main street and the rooms aren't too bad for the price.

Went there for soccer games.

The super 8 is clean,but needs new pillows. Desk person said they were to update hotel. Breakfast was good. The usual bagels, bread, fruit, cereal and yogurt.
