Our room was comfortable and reasonably priced. When we checked in, we were invited to attend happy hour in the lounge, complete with free chips, salsa, veggies, and dip. We each received a coupon for a free drink. The complimentary breakfast was
delicious and service was excellent.
One trash can, as far from bathroom as possible.
One towel and wash cloth not replaced after being used.
No pen to write with or paper to write on.
One waffle maker, long wait to use.
bathroom exhaust fan VERY loud.
The carpet was filthy, and the only chair had a stain on it that I wouldn't consider touching, let alone sitting on. The other furniture was chipped and scratched and the beds uncomfortable. After trying for at least five minutes to get the card
lock to work (in the rain) and running back to the desk clerk, she said when it rains the doors swell and you have to pull it toward you before you try the card. Wouldn't that have been good to know before we got drenched? I love Durango and will go back but will never stay here again. At half the price, the room would not have been a bargain.
