Stay and play in downtown Denver where contemporary meets pop culture
Creativity with a healthy dose of pop culture puts a playful spin on business events and adds spunk to leisure trips. Guests entering the lively lobby of The Curtis are greeted by televised cartoons and the Five & Dime store offers relics from the past to elicit nostalgic smiles. This downtown hotel, where the most miniscule details have been amped up to offer a one-of-a-kind Denver experience, also offers superb meeting and event facilities with an event manager. The Curtis Hotel is not just a place to stay--it is a place to experience.
Highlights
  • Impromptu hula hoop contests and Guitar Hero tournaments on the Wii in the lobby
  • Wake-up calls from Elvis, Yoda or Austin Powers
  • The Corner Office, an on-site retro-style eatery open for breakfast, lunch and dinner
  • Superb meeting and event facilities with onsite event manager
Rooms

The Curtis offers 13 themed floors with 336 contemporary guest rooms and two suites for the traveler ready to work and play. Flat-screen TVs and iPod speaker systems put entertainment at your fingertips. Pets are welcome (fees apply).

Features

The central downtown Denver location and stylish rooms at The Curtis offer a fresh stay. Amenities include a large desk, coffee maker for the necessary java jolt, free wireless Internet access and a flat-screen TV. Guests who prefer an office environment can head to the business center. Meeting rooms are whimsically named with decor that adds creativity to conferences and brainstorming sessions. Creative meeting planners can forget floral centerpieces in lieu of fixtures like Battleship, Connect4 and KerPlunk! which are only for use during breaks, of course.

SUPER NICE FOR THE PRICE BUT....

Clean hotel, very friendly staff and right in the MIDDLE OF DOWNTOWN!! The bed was also EXTREMELY comfy! The hotel is also pet friendly, which was a must, they also called me when my dog was crying instead of having him removed!! Overall we had an awesome experience at this hotel, the only thing I will say is I was charged over $100 more than what I thought I would be for parking and $4 bottled water and a $20 movie I accidentally clicked on...other that that its really worth the price!!!

Heart of downtown

Right across from the Arts Complex, the Curtis has an ideal location. Good food at the Corner Office restaurant. Rooms are somewhat basic but adequate.

The Curtis Denver

I LOVED staying in this hotel - it was only 1 1/2 blocks to the 16th St. Pedestrian Mall, and I had a great view of the Rockies! The free shuttle on the 16th St Mall took me to the Museum of Contemporary Art at one end of the ride, and to the Denver Art Museum near the other.

ModMarket, one block from Curtis Street at 16th, has fresh market produce, homemade soups and pizza, too much to eat at a reasonable price.

GREAT location! Each floor has a different theme. No pool or hot tub. Great on-site bar called The Office.

Quirky but fun

It's an odd sort of hotel, with comic like characters as wall paper and an elevator that mocks you, but if you can stand the tongue and cheek, it's really quite fun. If you need a quick laugh, call the front desk and ask to be placed on hold. The bar needs to be open later, midnight is just not quite late enough. And a breakfast bar would be nice. Beds are comfy, rooms are clean. Decor is 70's chic on purpose. All and all, a cool place.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

Larimer square is close and has a myriad of fun restaurants and night life. This weekend there was a chalk art festival that was awesome.

Good location, Good value

Hotel itself is a little quirky as advertised, but the staff is nice and helpful and the rooms were very clean. Great location, walkable to eateries, bars, baseball game, etc. Would stay here again.

Perfect location-fun atmosphere

We had absolutely no complaints with this hotel. The location was perfect for walking to a variety of sights. We needed 2 queen beds and this was one of the few hotels that offered that.

Great place in convenient location

The staff was super friendly. Loved the warm cookies upon arrival. The themed floors were fun especially when the elevator voice speaks! Loved the decor and convenient parking garage. Perfect location close to the 16th street mall. I would say the only downfall is that our room was super small for the price and you could hear people pretty well in the next room.

Concert trip

It was just ok, nice hotel, didn't spend much time there. The bathroom didn't work very well for more than one person to use the sink at a time. And the TV was confusing...

Curtis Denver - failed to deliver

I was excited to stay at The Curtis - it looked like a cute boutique hotel and it was very close to the Convention Center. I was disappointed to find the room smelling very musty, lacking a mirror (other than on the bathroom wall), and without even a clock. I believe this hotel was way too expensive for the quality of room they delivered.
