Great Family Visit
I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel VQ. It's a older hotel, but the location is prime. The staff was really nice. I'LL RETURN SOME DAY DEFINITELY.. Besides Denver is a place that you have to get out to experience, staying in a Hotel all day will do that city injustice..

The room could have been cleaner. It appeared that the bed was made and the trash cans emptied but not much else. The other guests I talked to had similar opinions. The carpets in the hallways and in the rooms are heavily soiled.

I liked the location
The room didn't have a mini frig which would have been nice for the money that I paid. The restaurant was only open until 10 and the bar was closed at the same time if they didn't have enough customers. The bed and the pillows were really nice but other than that I will not be going back. The amenities were not that great. The staff was very friendly. But the hotel is old and it shows.

Business expo
The bed is like sleeping on a piece of wood, not comfortable at all, flat pillows. Couldn't get air conditioner to turn on. There was a dog barking all night called front desk and all they said was " the people aren't in there room there is nothing we can do." at what point do you consider the 5 customers that you states had already called complaining. If you are going to allow animals they should be on a differe r level to where customers won't be up all night from them. It was a clean and nice hotel besides that

Great price and location.
The hotel was comfortable and was located in a convenient area to take their free shuttle to various places. The upstairs dining area was reasonable and included a very nice view of downtown Denver. We were all pleased with the hotel and staff.

Not quite up to par.
We stayed three nights....OK for the price, but slightly "stinky", and don't expect soap unless you ask for it.

Too bad
It was too bad that when we got such a nice deal to stay here I was happy to reserve it for my sister and her family. But every day I would meet them they had another not-so-good story to tell about the hotel. It was a little hot in the room, but they did give them a box fan to put in the window. That was not even the worst part. Every bad part had to do with the STAFF there. Every time they would ask a qustion like where would be the best place to park the car, or when they asked about the complimentary breakfast, the STAFF was very rude and condescending. They tried to say because we reserved on [...]that the complimentary breakfast was not included. [...]Too bad, because it looked like a very nice hotel from the outside and lobby, but it ended up making my sister's visit unpleasant.

Decent Enough
Hotel was a little worn and dated but I was not expecting much. Place was clean and the staff was friendly. I had business all over the Denver Metroplex so the central location was pretty convienent.

Old but decent
The hotel was fine- staff were helpful and friendly, rooms were clean albeit in a bad need of an upgrade (the rooms clearly haven't been renovated since the early 90's). No signs of bedbugs. It wasn't loud at all for being right next to 25 and you have the benefit of hopping onto the highway just outside the hotel. There was one night where it sounded like two dogs were fighting in the hotel hallway at 12 AM, but security quieted that down within 20 minutes. Overall, if your needs are few and you just need a convenient place to sleep at night, this will work. Their fitness room is a joke, though- it's literally a fitness "room" about 1/2 the size of the hotel room.
