Good enough
Rickinchi Oct 26, 2009
The staff seemed pretty young and inadvertently gave my cab driver the wrong directions when I went out one evening. They did ... seem well drilled on usual situations like checking in but it was all wrote. The attached resturant was a bit pricey but the food was good when I went for breakfast. Attached to the resturant was a night club. The bar was well stocked and the staff was helpful and efficient. The clientele was mostly young and hip with the usual mix of lowlivian hustlers thrown in. Other than that, the hotel seemed very safe with none of the losses that often accompany urban hotels noted among the numerous guests who had come to our event. Each floor had a different theme like "Champions" with accompanying decor and theme music when the elevator arrived.

The Supershuttle begins it's operation at this Hotel which means that there's always seats for walk ons. Just know that it will stop at several other hotels and cram as many folks on as possible. If you can split a cab with a couple or three people then it could be cheaper and faster.

Trendy Hotel Great Location
Megarchitect Jun 8, 2009
This hotel is trendy and fun, with clean, new fixtures and furniture. We were just passing through Denver, but this hotel was ... in the perfect area, walking distance to 16th street mall, the convention center, and tons of other places. We ended up going out for drinks even though we arrived late and thought we'd just stay in. We will stay here again. Also the price we got was really reasonable for the hotel.

Adequate, but not thrilling. Fun themes
coast2coastMD May 8, 2009
I was primarily walking to another region hotel for a conference across from the convention center. Walk on 14th was under ... construction, more comfortable to walk along 15th street. Multiple nearby restaurants, close to the 16th street mall, even a reasonable hair place less than a block away. I would likely stay here again for business based on affordability. Definitely 3 + star, but I thought that some of the decor was more cheesy than classic.

Over all it was very enjoyable, the people there were great, really friendly, and really made us feel welcomed. How ever I ... will from now on much sure I do not get a room by the elevator, I could hear it every time it came to our floor. I did not get a chance to explore but the hotel seem very inviting through-out. I did like that the floors were themed and the elevator had a different saying to correspond to the them. I think it would have been better to carry the them to the rooms as well.

We were in Denver to attend the TESOL International Conference. The rooms were very comfortable and quiet most of the time. ... The beds were very, very comfortable. We had a much better location than many of our fellow convention friends who had to walk four or five blocks to get to the conference.

Denver is such an easy stroll all around and a short cab ride to outskirts. I LOVED the food at Los Cabos (one block from the Curtis), a Peruvian Restaurant on Champa. True Ceviche. Also I highly recommend the Argentinian restaurant, Buenos Aires Grill at 2191 Arapahoe (only 9 blocks from the Curtis). Enjoy the City.

We really enjoyed our short stay at The Curtis in downtown Denver. Location is less than 2 blocks from the Col. Convention ... Very Accomodating
Michaela Nov 20, 2008
The Curtis was very welcoming, even with a 12:30AM arrival. The hotel had a very warm atmosphere and the staff was very ... friendly and helpful. We got upgraded to a bigger room, which was very nice. We ordered room service for breakfast, and the food was amazing. I know that breakfast food is not very complicated, but it was one of the best breakfast meals I have had. The only downfall to this hotel is the slightly large valet parking expense. It was $24 per day! I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend.

The Curtis is walking distance to shops and is in a beautiful area of downtown Denver.
