Sightseeing tip:
Short drive from hotel
Short drive or walk to Coors Field. We took a cab and it cost $4.50 from the hotel to the field. Not bad at all.

AWP Conference
Attended AWP conference, it was close to the venue and every place else we wanted to go to. Beds were really comfortable, the staff was hilarious and the fact that parking was in and out (unheard of!) a plus!

Great, Great Location in Denver
We booked this hotel based mainly because of its central location in downtown Denver. EVERYTHING we wanted to do was within 12 blocks of the hotel. It was a nice walk to Coors Field, with lots of "establishments" between our hotel and the field. The 16th street mall was within 2 blocks, which included a free shuttle from early morning until late night (past 1 am). Lots of bars nearby, although it would help to ask around, depending on the experience you are looking for. It wasn't far to great running paths along the small Platte River. Great breakfast included, and there was an outdoor hot tub outside the fitness center on the 8th floor patio that was often very quiet. We loved staying here!

Nightlife tip:
Short walk from hotel
Beat the crowds before and after the Rockies games and go out on Larmier street on the blocks between 20th and 24th. Hard to find bands/live music elsewhere/away from the Coors Field area.

Great, great, great hotel!
I loved this hotel! It had a great location, right in the middle of Lodo, just a block away from the 16th st mall. The room was amazing for the price we paid, nice decor, nice flat screen tv, pull out bed, the room was huge, and a nice view of the city, we didn't pay much at all, and got awsome breakfast, and service too.. ex: I left my jacket on a taxi, they called the taxi, got it back and tipped the hotel tipped the driver for bringing it back... I had a great experience!

Short walk from hotel
we ate at the rocky mountain diner, it was good, and cheap just a block away from the hotel, but there were a million other places to eat with in a few blocks!
