The location was a mystery that repeatedly got us turned in the wrong direction. Even the GPS couldn't help! Once we arrived, ... the room was just ok But the bath was problematic. The heater seemed possessed coming on even when shut off. Finally we just had to unplug it. It was noisy and over all a low budget experience. Broken ice machine. No fridge. No microwave.

Good location. The bedding was above average but the room had an odor. The hotel put charges on my card when I had not ... purchased anything but they did drop off three days later. Very inexpensive and free breakfast buffet coupons.

My boyfriend and I went down to Denver for the weekend of Halloween, just as a little get away. We loved the appearance of ... the hotel and the fact that it was big and in a decent area. We liked that there was a walmart and a few stores close by and that downtown was not that far away. The only thing we didn't like was the fact that we waited for 2 and a half hours to get a cab..but it was understandable that it was halloween night so it was busy for taxis! Besides that we didn't have any complaints, we enjoyed our stay!!!

The Hotel staff was okay. The first room we got was non-smoking but wreaked of a smoker. We changed rooms. The hallway carpet ... was old and the rooms needed updating. It was not a clean feel. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling at the bottom. The chair at the desk in the bedroom had nicks. Imagine walking and staying at your grandparents, well, that was this hotel. It was NOT as modern as pictured. I mistakenly thought because it was a Doubletree property that the standards would have been higher. They were not.

If it wasn't the next door plumbing or the people using the elevator, yelling up and down the hall then it was the 6 or 7 ... mile long trains per day to help keep you awake. If you are someone that doesn't need sleep or are have been told by your Doctor to not sleep for a few days then this Hotel is for you. We all understand that sleeping takes time from your day but if you don't want to drag the following day then sleep is what you need and your not going to get it at the Red Lion!! If I ever book here again it's due to us hosting an all-night party....

Room was great for the price. Service was very good and friendly. There was a train near by that woke us up a few times a ... night blowing it's whistle. That was the only negative. I would still stay there again for the price. Great shuttle service to the mall and resturants.

I had an overall good experience with the hotel. Room service was terrific as was the food. It is a large hotel, though, and ... I didn't get a chance to experience the hotels ammenities. It was an older hotel that could use some small updates. Overall, it was a good experience and for the price, I was satisfied.

If you order food from Pizza Hut and go to pick it up, make sure you know which one it is. There are 3 within a 5 mile radius and I had to guess which one I had called when it came time to tell the GPS where to take me.

If you don't have a car, and dont want to take a taxi there is a bus stop across the street. If you want to go downtown, (Coors Field, Pepsi Center, 16th Street Mall, etc) take bus route 44.
