So so
overall you get what you paid for. I had some issues with my room, but once I called it to their attention I got a much better room at no charge. Staff is nice enough but there is a sizable restaurant/ bar that actually gets a large amount of people coming to it on Friday and sat nights...... People that aren't staying at the hotel. Lots of riff raff, thugs, and ghetto fab type people come. I actually passed by a pair of freshly taken off jeans and then later a bra on my way up the stairwell to my room sat night. Kinda funny but pretty trashy. what a terrible business model. Why have a trashy bar that attracts large amounts of trashy people, taking up large amounts of parking at a hotel? Interesting. Overall tho, I will say that once in my room, none of this affected me one bit. The room was decent enough after they gave me a new one. I honestly would stay here again if the price was right and I was desperate. At the end of the day you spend 98% of the time inside the room. Really it's just the idea of the whole thing......

Very comfortable and clean room
Hotel was much nicer than I expected. It's out of the way so there is nothing to walk to. But it was a short drive to downtown. Staff was friendly and competent. Room was spacious and clean.

For the value, very good. Unfortunately we missed the free breakfast the first morning as we were told breakfast was served until 11am. We got to the buffet at 10:02am and it was all cleaned up. I was told breakfast ended at 10am but it was clear they had cleaned up well before 10am. If that was not bad enough on Sunday when we checked out breakfast was suddenly served until 11am on that day but we had already checked out. We were able to eat once out of the three times promised. One other issue the fire alarm went off at 2:30 am, an apparent practical joke, that me and my guests did not find funny as we stood in the cold in our jammies. Other than that a good value and decent hotel for the price.

Party Central
Manager is not exactly helpful but front desk supplied good customer service. Teddy's is the party central. The police broke up a party at 1am and sent people scrambling in the parking lot. Choose the 4th floor and run the air if you want to sleep through the night. Food at Teddy's was above average!

Girls' Night
Our dear friend was headed back to South Africa the following week; so we decided a proper girls' night was in order, complete with drinks and dancing downtown. Unfortunately, it was a busy downtown weekend: Stock Show and Sportsman's Expo; hence, most hotels were extremely overpriced as well as booked. [...] The price was reasonable, but what really got me was the bar, Teddy's, downstairs offered dancing! We didn't have to go all the way DT on a cold night, we danced till 2 and took the elevator up to our room, staying warm and happy the whole time.
