Will not stay here again
Bathroom light did not work unless we left it on for about an hour. Notified front desk and was asked if we'd like to switch rooms if they couldn't get maintenance to come by, to which I replied Yes, but did not hear back from the desk at all and after returning from dinner the prior employee was no longer at the desk. Shower water never warmed up so I was forced to take a cold shower in the morning prior to heading out into freezing temperatures.

Good location for concert venues
Overall it was great, I was really looking forward to a hot tub but I can't complain when it's mid December. I loved that there is a 6pm checkout for only $20 more!

Just what I needed
It's just what I needed for my first trip to Denver, nothing fancy, with a great location. Everything was average except the staff were so helpful when I asked them anything about what to do & where to go. My only real complaint was the water temp. I had to keep dodging the water because it had a mind of its own. It would go from ice cold to burning hot in a matter of seconds. I'd still stay there again.

Good not great
The hotel was in a great location and the price was hard to beat. It did have some cleanliness issues in the room but overall it was a good place. The staff really made it worth it with their knowledge of Denver.

Doors slam too easily
My experience was great, except the constant slamming of neighboring room doors at all hours if the night and early morning. I would suggest putting in something to aid this so people can get a good nights rest. It wasn't the person slamming the door, but the automatic shutting of the door that could be felt and heard as if it was my room door. I will definitely stay here again, but maybe ask for a different room in a less trafficked area. Also, book online at preferred booking site as their price was at least $10 cheaper than the 1-800 reservation line.

GABF 2012 Stay
Hotel is located in the "bohemian" part of town. Music venues, bars, students, hookers and what not. Would have given a better rating but this hotel failed in one critical aspect....shower. The water went from 140' to 50' over and over and over again. All you really need from a hotel is a clean bed and good shower so that is a BIG deal. Probably would not stay there again unless nothing else were available.
