Lots of Fun
This is a very cool hotel. Be sure to ask for a gold fish to be in your room. Great loaction and very nice staff.

Very quiet and friendly staff. Rooms was very quiet and clean and lots of extras. Went to a comdey show that evening about five blocks away. Enjoyed he staff and room the most. Would love to return to hotel for a longer stay sometime soon. Keith

Ideal for going to Rockies game
There was a lot that we liked about this hotel. Rooms and lobby were attractive. Location is perfect for going to Rockies, convention center, and restaurants. The staff was very attentive. Wine hour was nice. Free wifi worked fine. The only negatives were no pool or hot tub and expensive parking. We were able to take advantage of the half price valet parking for hybrids which cut it to $14.00. You have to ask for it. They didn't charge us for going over 24 hours because of the Rockies game. Some might find the room small but it was all that we needed. We will definitely stay there again if we can find reasonable rates like we did this time.

Stayed at Hotel Monaco Denver
Ended up getting a free upgrade to their John Lennon room and it was GREAT! Huge room with a very nice and comfy bed and the whirlpool bath was definitely awesome! Me and my better half had an absolutely great time! (We wanted to spend a nice night downtown together and not just at home as I just got back from vacation in Japan that night) The room was very clean, quiet, nice view, and the vibe in the room with the theming was very nice and enjoyable. The in-room breakfast was awesome, a bit on the $$ side, but thats to be expected for a hotel in room dining service. Overall me and my girl would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family definitely, it was one heck of a nice stay with a very nice price! Be nice to the staff and you might get a free upgrade like we did!

Luxurious Getaway
If you're looking for a relaxing, luxurious getaway in Denver--the Hotel Monaco is just the place. I researched a number of hotels online and finally settled on the Hotel Monaco because of its amenities, such as valet parking, recently refurbished rooms, Zagat-rated restaurant on-site, and Aveda spa. It also has quirky touches, like giving patrons an in-room goldfish and its Alice In Wonderland meets hip contemporary interior designer decor. My stay was fabulous, from the kindness of the valet parking attendants working in front of the hotel (in sub-freezing temperatures!) to the in-room dining manager (who sent up a complementary bottle of champagne in honor of my birthday). I had a manicure/pedicure in the spa and, because they were running five minutes late, received a glass of white wine as I waited. Dinner at Panzano was another treat--calamari, grilled Caesar salad, fresh fish special, and tiramisu were all highlights. The hotel is one block away from the 16th Street Mall where there are lots of restaurants and shops. You can catch a free shuttle on the 16th Street Mall, which will take you close to the Denver Art Museum or, in the opposite direction, one block away from the best bookstore this side of the Mississippi, the Tattered Cover. The Denver Center for the Performing Arts and the Convention Center are just blocks away. I'll be staying at the Hotel Monaco again whenever I travel to Denver--highly recommended!

Close to 16th St. Mall and worth it
Check in was easy, everyone was friendly. Gave us good recommendations on places to eat. The room was clean and relaxing. The animal print robes were lots of fun!
