Thanksgiving Broncos Game Stay
Southern Colorado Broncos Fan Nov 28, 2009
Nice elegant place to stay. Large place, with ample area for everyone. All the staff were very respectful and courteous. ... The location would be exceptional on most other days, not Thanksgiving. My only drawback was parking. Parking was available at the Hyatt garage, under the hotel-for $24 the entire stay. Parking is lousy anywhere due to being downtown Denver, but I would just assume the cost was built into the room instead of shocking us with that additional cost.

Nice facility, but many seperate charges
Great facility, too many charges Oct 1, 2009
This is a nice hotel. But next time I will stay across the Street at the Hilton Garden Inn which does not impose additional ... charges for everything, including basic office facilities (You have to pay FedEx Kinkos), internet (you have to pay $9.95), etc. With those exceptions though this hotel is exceptional.

Not as Advertised
Frequent Traveller Sep 10, 2009
Spent the night after figuring out a complicated parking and check in routine. This hotel charges extra for everything. ... After a mild protest they erased the charges for internet and parking. I have stayed in many hotels rated as less quality and found equal comfort with much more reasonable amenities.

No free Internet
john Sep 9, 2009
Great Location, great view, good room but I paid for all of that. What it didn't have was; free internet(every other hotel ... on the trip did have), no microwave, so don't think of warming up leftovers, no refrig. so don't think of cold drinks, $6.00 water... Very helpful people, that liked tips, really good view of mountains, BUT nickle and dime you(more like dollar and $5 dollar you) on everything. Get the message, internet connections are not unusual.

Great Location
Brandan E. Lloyd Sep 7, 2009
The hotel staff was very professional, friendly, and helpful. The fitness center was great for an aerobic workout. They have ... dumbbells and machines for lifting. Not much for serious free weights. The location is great for shopping along the 16th street mall (1 block away) and you can quickly (5 - 10 min) get to LoDo on the free shuttle that runs along the 16th street mall. The internet access was $9.95 a day.

beautiful place, great location
Colorado Hotelier Aug 31, 2009
I stay in downtown Denver every few weeks with my girlfriend to get out of the mountains. The Hyatt is my favorite hotel ... because of its great location and wonderful service. I also like the bar on the 27th floor (best place to watch the sunset in the city) and cool decor. [...] did a great check-in and later had a mini-fridge delivered. Serverin the bar was great and very attentive ([...] I think) and offered different drink options and specials. The only thing that I would let potential guests know is that there are 3 sets of elevators in the building that service different areas. Also, if you choose not to valet you have to drive around the block to enter the garage. If you were a "regular" you could go straight into the garage and up to the lobby and save time during check-in. (The valet asked us to park prior to check-in.)

After you've had drinks at the two bars in the Hyatt, make your way to the Corner Office in The Curtis hotel. Not nearly the view, but still a nice place to have a drink. Also, The Paramount Cafe has the best late night happy hour (2 for 1) and is only a few blocks away too. Both options are not "nightclubs" and are not in "LODO" so they are good options if you are looking for a drink where you can talk.

Great Hotel in Denver
RxNeil Aug 19, 2009
We had a great time at the Hyatt. We were upgraded to a suite and enjoyed Regency Club privileges. The room was very ... spacious and nicely decorated. There was a nice flat screen TV and a radio with I-Pod dock, and an empty fridge to keep our own beverages fresh. I highly recommend this hotel right in the middle of Denver The health club is terriffic.
