Nice, but trains could be noisy
The room was very nice. I prefer having free wifi in the room rather than expensive plans. I'm a heavy sleeper, so I slept through the trains that were always dinging as they drove by. It may not be good for a light sleeper.

Highly recommended
I stayed one night for business purpose and everything was great. The staff was super nice and very helpful. The breakfast buffet is great and healthy. The only thing I wish were a little better is the traffic noise from the street, but again considering the central location of the hotel, it is expected. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Happily Surprised
We were there on business and we were very pleased and happy that the hotel was so nice! Clean, most of the staff was friendly and we had a good nights rest! the heat does not turn on unless its at a specific temperature, so the air was on all night, & one of the female front desk staff, less than helpful and seemed a bit put out, but other than that, we would stay there again and enjoy it more!

business and pleasure
We attended meetings at the convention center, enjoyed Denver night life and also caught the Broncos when they nearly won. We found the staff throughout the Hyatt very helpful and friendly. The room seemed a bit small for the price. Food was excellent. Loved the view in the Peaks. thank you.

Great Stay
If you're staying for anything at the Convention Center, you will find the most helpful staff and the most convenient location possible. I would give it four and a half, not 5 if the software would let me for a couple of small reasons: The rooms, while clean and comfortable are beginning to show 6 years of hotel-use. The shower hardware was a bit loose on the tub, the carpet needed a deep clean on the hallway (room was fine). Other than that, I have no complaints. Elevators were quick, even with a full house! I was on the 16th floor and stayed for a week during a packed beer festival. Never waited more than 30 seconds ever!

First trip to Denver? 16th street mall is a block out the front door. Have you heard of Sams3 for breakfast anytime? (Food channel) expect 1-hour waits. Just go to Leela European Cafe a block closer, on the same 15th street. Bohemian, to be sure, but great food.

Pretty hotel
Nice staff, hard bed
The staff was excellent! Very attentitve, professional, and nice. My only complaint, which is big for me, is the bed was HARD...very uncomfortable. For that reason alone, I won't stay here again. When I travel on business I need to be able to get a good nights sleep for the next days round of meetings. Other than that, I was a bit disappointed in the on site restaurant. $30 for a thick, dry pork chop that I ordered medium, my headboard was so dirty I had to ask housekeeping to clean it and I'm one of those people who NEVER complains so if I had to call housekeeping you can imagine how dirty it was. Bottom line: pretty hotel with nice staff but way too uncomfortable

Long Weekend
My husband and I went on a long weekend trip for our anniversary (3 nights). We are sports fans and had tickets to see the Rockies and the Broncos play. Both of the stadiums are a short cab ride ($7). The Hyatt Regency hotel and staff went beyond our expectations. Nice place and very nice people. It was walking distance to the shops on 16th street and many places to eat. We also had WONDERFUL breakfasts down in the restaraunt every morning. We would defintely stay here again!
