I have stayed in many hotels over the years; the Hyatt Regency at the Denver Tech Center is one of the best. Excellent ... rooms, super courteous staff and , of course, the free shuttle within 5 miles. Room service and the hotel resturants were also impressive. I highly recommend the Hyatt for travelers of all ages.

Denver Trip
RC Sep 22, 2009
The view was very nice. Our check-in was fast and friendly. Although my choice was to stay on one of the upper floors I would ... have chosen the 10th floor instead if the 11th due to noise from the 12th floor banquet events. The pool and work out center were nice but the whirlpool was not functioning and when asked we were told it was due to the addition of cleaning products but later found out that it was broken. It was not fixed until our last day. The parking was very good with controlled access that made it feel more secure. The availability of an elevator to get to the room was quick despite the number of guests. The lobby was spacious and inviting. House keeping was very accommodating and did a great job. Even the least expensive wireless internet option was more than enough to explore the local attractions and events. The overall cost for the room was in line with expectations. The additional cost for in room water and the hotel store were excessive as it relates to other locations I have stayed. The location related to main roads is very good and easy to navigate with many local restaurants and stores near by.

The hotel was great my problem is with Orbitz. We reserved a non smoking room (or at least I thought) but when I got there ... all the hotel had left was smoking rooms that stunk like smoke and is just nasty with no way to get fresh air in. I am very dissapointed with orbitz and this experience will prevent me from using them in the future.

Clean, Comfortable, Good Service
D Lo Aug 6, 2009
We stayed here for the proximity to Fiddler's Green for a concert. The check-in went smoothly, the staff was friendly, and ... they provided a free shuttle service to get us to the show. The room was clean and well decorated & the bed was comfortable. Our phone wasn't working and they promptly replaced the unit with a working one. NEGATIVE: The only negative I have is that the air conditioning didn't work as well as we would have liked. We got to the point where we had it set as cold as it would go and still it wasn't getting that cool in the room. It wasn't uncomfortably warm by any means, but if you like your room cold, it might be something to consider.

Colo weekend
Colo Native Jul 27, 2009
My first greeting by the doormen and a gentleman from Africa at the front desk, was exceptional. After that everyone else ... was average. The pool was much smaller than it looked in the photo and it was packed with kids. They need a separate kiddie pool. This is after all; a business area. Also The distance the hotel lobby from the parking garage is a hike. The lobby decor was a bit out dated. On the flip side the rooms were immaculate and nicely decorated. The walls were thin- I could here an entire conversation a mother had with her son next door. Her voice was raised but she was not shouting and I could hear every word! While the bed was big with a pillow top cover and down comforter- it was a extremely firm and the sheets where like wood (very low thread count.) The bathroom was small. The door bangs into the tub when fully opened. The tub was small too. The flat screen TV picture was of low quality. So all in all the room looked nice and was very clean but that is the most I can say on the positive side.

Surprisingly Low-Tech
GM Jul 22, 2009
I had higher expectations for this hotel based on the information presented in the Orbitz website. Room was decent, and ... location-wise it was near major highways, but it required several blocks worth of twisting and turning to get on and off the highway. Had to replace remote because of dead batteries. Cable selection was abysmal: only about 20 channels. I was also shocked at having to pay $15/day for internet access! Coffee machine was also a lukewarm pathetic device. I just kept noticing a tendency to skimp wherever possible.

Unbeatable Experience
Jack, Rosie and Mom! Jun 17, 2009
My trip at the Hyatt Denver Tech Center was unparalleled! My 9 year old son, Jack, and I traveled there together with our ... dog, Rosie, to have a nice, fun, exciting and relaxing weekend. Not many hotels are now pet friendly, not only is the Hyatt pet friendly they even had a dog bed for us!! My son was so entertained the entire weekend, we played basketball together with the most amazing backdrop of the snow-capped Colorado rocky mountains! It was breathtaking! That basketball court was one of a kind and by far the most exhilarating view ever! The staff was remarkable. We even developed a relationship with our housekeeper [...], can you tell me you have ever even known your housekeepers name? She was very through, our room was immaculate and she took concern for us and our daily activities. The food at the hotel was absolutely wonderful. I was very surprised by the quality, generous portions and reasonable pricing. On the weekends Hyatt even sets up a beautiful omelet to order and waffle station in the restaurant. It was perfect for my son and me! I even indulged in a relaxing message in their treatment room while my son played in the pool and enjoyed a few ping pong games with the other kids. I will defiantly enjoy another weekend at the Hyatt with my son and dog, what an impressing experience for me, staying here is a definite must if you are in the Denver area!

The hotel is close to many fine restaurants and clubs. I personally found the Baker Street Bar and Grill to be good value although very busy with a younger set on a Friday night or weekend.
