Very Disappointing for the Price
Frustrated Traveler Nov 8, 2009
I checked into the hotel on a Wednesday and was told the hotel was sold out. I paid for a king bed and got two double beds in ... a corner room (very small) and it was the handicapped room with no tub and small bathroom. After complaining, I was upgraded to a king suite for the next two nights, but the room was noisy and the shower was broken. Very frustrating! The $28 valet parking was very expensive as well.

Great ambiance
Too much travel Oct 25, 2009
Sometimes the travel experience can be very solitary, flying from one location to another for meetings. The Kimpton has an ... evening happy hour with first class appetizers and lovely wines. The ambiance of the lobby seating area allows for very relaxed conversations and mingling among various groups/people in attendance. A very welcome opportunity.

Great overnight get away.
Jimmy Oct 14, 2009
This reservation was for a quiet romantic overnight getaway. The room was quiet and cozy. We heard that they offer goldfish ... for an extra homey touch but that is only available upon request. It was perfect none the less. The location was 2 blocks from the pedestrian mall downtown, so there were plenty of restaurant choices within walking distance, for a nice dinner. The hotel staff was very accommodating with our requests. It was a very enjoyale stay.
