Things to do in Denver before you fly...

We needed a convenient "nice" hotel to spend the night near the Denver Airport before we flew out early the next morning. We chose the Hampton Inn because we knew what we would get, at a reasonable price and it would be convenient. No surprises here - everything was just as expected. No hassles, no problems - just what we wanted.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Sporting News Grill on Tower Road - found this through yelp. Nothing special, but nothing poor either. Food was good, service was mostly good & mostly speedy, price was reasonable.

Fantastic location to the Airport

We needed a place to spend the night before an early plane trip home from vacation in CO. It was a great place to stay and had an airport shuttle. It would have been perfect with a smal refrigerator!

Shuttle Problems

We have stayed at this hotel before due to its proximity to the airport and the 24 hour shuttle to the airport. We booked a shuttle for 3:45 AM with our two friends in another room and my daughter and her boyfriend also in another room. We had eight sets of skis to go in the shuttle. We were told by the driver that there was no rack and we had to load the skis ourselves and had to climb over the skis to sit.There were two other people in the shuttle. It was not the driver's fault. It seems that being in Denver a shuttle should be able to accommodate skis. Needless to say it was very annoying dealing with this situation at 3:45 AM.

Good location

I have stayed at this hotel before and the only complaint I have is the noise from doors banging in the morning as poeple leave their rooms.
