wonderful stay at Marriot
I had just one day trip in Denver for my business. Moment I entered in the conceirge staff helped to get my luggage. The staff was really cordial and polite and helpful. The room was clean and good. The overall stay was really comfortable. I will stay in Denver Marriot City Centre again.

The American Grill is there in basement Lobby, In cold winter you dont want to walk outside for nice steak and soup.

Food Trays in Hallways
The stay at the hotel was good. But when we got up to our level their were food trays all over the hallways. I understand its company policy trays cannot be in rooms but still I paid in the congeire level where CEO and CFO and COO stay. And this was new years eve and it took them forever to clean it up whren we complained. I would not stay at hotel if i was a CEO. And plus you have to walk two blocks to hotel from parking garage if you do not want valet parking and their valet parking is parking your car up on the sidewalk.

Staff was more than helpful & polite. Bed was unbelievably comfortable. Bathtub had previous occupants hair in it (ewy), Had to rinse out tub before could use. All else was excellent.

it was ok
I did a pub crawl in downtown denver for my birthday. they didn't offer to upgrade me...but that is their choice. because i didn't have a credit card, they had to charge $25 for incidentals & then it'll be returned in a few days...that wasn't appropriate. the room was small for the amt of money i paid. even though i wasn't in the room long...it's still kind of disappointing that the room wasn't nicer. i wouldn't recommend your hotel to my friends to stay at. my experience was not good at all.

Just as Expected
Check-in was very fast & smooth. Room was very comfortable. Downtown location was key for this trip. Enjoyed a Rockies game & celebrated my son's 21st birthday at a variety of bars & eateries, all within walking distance. Valet couldn't find our car at checkout so wasn't as smooth as check-in but staff was very pleasant & freindly.

Tired but not retired
anniversary getaway
Hotel staff was friendly and efficient. Be sure to get the breakfast as part of your room package, it is well worth the minor cost. I expected to pay more than normal for parking due to downtown location, but paying half the room cost to park one night is more than excessive in my opinion. A block away is secure, covered public parking that, while not as convenient, is less than one fourth the cost of hotel parking. Other than that, the stay was great. The location is a very short walk to the 16th Street Mall and not that far from LoDo, both of which are must see for your Denver getaway.
