Nice room; not safe location

The room were nice for the price, the location was not so nice. When we arrived, there was a man and woman sleeping in the car beside us. It was at night when we made it to the hotel, and he lobby was very dark. It did not make you feel safe.

Denver's Best Inn and Suites

There was construction going on that required using a detour to get to the hotel. The detour signs were not so helpful, so I called the hotel to get better directions. The lady I spoke to was unhelpful, as she could not remember the names of the streets I needed to turn on. It was frustrating, needless to say, after a long day traveling.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

The downtown area has several restaurants that looked pretty good. My husband and I settled on Watercrest, a vegetarian restaurant. It did not disappoint.

Good hotel for the money.

Convenient to the airport and the main interstate highway. Basic rooms that are clean. The free continental breakfast could be much better.

Very Average

The hotel was cheap--that was the best thing about it. The free breakfast was minimal, mostly sweet carbs. Minimal amenities. No exercise facility.

Never again

Double beds needed queen. Slow draining tub, fixtures barely hanging on the wall, air conditioner was extremely loud. Felt dirty. Breakfast was cold cereal and toast. Hard to get to from the interstate. Will never stay here again.

Great staff! Friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel was clean and cozy, but the continental breakfast was a bust. Everything was sugary; even the OJ was a punch-not orange juice! I am diabetic and a piece of toast is not good for me either.

Excellent service from the evening crew.

This was a great deal for the price. The service was helpful and considerate. The only complaint was the breakfast. I am diabetic and the only thing available was starch and sugar. There was no fruit and even the orange juice was not real--it was an orange drink. Very disappointing.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

This is a difficult question. None of those things on the list are applicable. I quess the only thing I could list is SAPP Brothers. 'IF' I was interested in their wares, they are about 4 blocks away. With the construction, nothing on that Type List is appropriate.

you get what you pay for

This stay wasn't horrible, however the door was broken and difficult to close. The staff wasn't the nicest or most welcoming. The breakfest didn't have very much to select from, but we got a great price and weren't in the room very much anyway.

Best Deal Inn & Suites

I paid about $45/night and I don't regret it one bit. The staff were rude, the Housekeeping came by at 9 a.m. while we were still in bed, the rooms smelled funny (we had to go buy our own room spray) but not smoky. The phone completely didn't work, and I had a slight fear that our mattress contained Bed Bugs (turns out probably not, stayed 2 night and I didn't notice a single bite or anything). But I got what I paid for. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone looking for an inexpensive place to stay in the denver area.
