mouse turds
This was the worst ever!! The room was very dirty. A drink was left in the room from a previous guest. The coffee pot had used tea bags left in them. When I pulled the covers back there was a rat turd and pee stays in the bed. The front desk was very rude. We went to another hotel. I have stayed at that hotel many times, but i will never go back.

Not Bates Motel, but in the neighborhood
This motel is old. The rooms were clean, but outer hallways, stairwells and elevator were filthy. Elevator and one TV didn't work first day there. No coffee at breakfast last two mornings. Maybe the second worst motel I have ever stayed at.

U get what u pay for
Denver was a last minute detour that we didn't originally budget for so when started looking for a hotel not too far from the main parts of Denver we decided to save $25 a night by staying here rather than the ramada inn downtown. The hotel is easy to get to right off the freeway. It's not in the greatest neighborhood and is one of those places that rent by the month. The rooms had that old musty hotel smell, the carpet was sticky so we wore shoes or flip flops at all times. Sheets smelled clean and the room itself was clean so that was a plus. If ur looking for a cheap place to stay then be ready to get what you paid for. Another plus was that it wasn't loud surprisingly even though it was near the freeway and of course it was easy to get to and only a 10min drive from downtown Denver.

bed bugs
We stayed one night just looking for a quick night's stay before going up into the mountains for skiing. The staff was quite accommodating, the hotel was base but was located near the stadium and we supposed it was ok for a night's stay. Wrong.... bed bugs!!!.. discovered in the morning after we drove away. My daughter had 10 or 12 welts spring up that morning. Believe me, they are aware...many phone calls were made. We won't be visiting this hotel any time soon.

Around the world in 80 "DAYS INN"
Pleasantly surprised
Usually when I take vacations, I stay in average hotels b/c it affords me the oppty to spend money in other areas. I'm rarely in the hotel, because I usually rent a car and drive all over the place. My philosophy is I'm not on vacation to stay in a hotel room...haha. Having said that, this hotel is right off the main highway, and you don't hear any noise. The Staff was very friendly. The room was average but clean and their breakfast was very good. They even had a waffle maker (nice touch). If you are going to rent a car and don't want to spend a lot of money or you don't have a lot of money, I would stay here. I personally would also stay here again.

Buyer beware
I chose this hotel based on price - you get what you pay for, I guess. I was surprised that this is associated with the Days Inn name, because normally, they do very well. The hotel was dirty, unsafe, most things were broken and one of the front desk staff members was awful. In brief order: Their main phone line was broken for the first 36 hours of my stay. I couldn't call the front desk from my room, nor could I call the hotel from outside. The ladies room off the lobby had no hot water and no paper towels. I reserved a non-smoking room and confirmed this at the front desk. They sent me to a smoking room anyhow. (Ashtrays and all). I had to go back to the front desk and start all over again. The next room they gave me had a broken door. The room had a light in the bathroom and one dim lamp. In their small gym neither the treadmill nor the bike worked. Most of the outlets in the wall didn't work. Plus, the outside area itself is sketchy and does not feel safe. The night front desk clerk was awesome. The day person was horrible.

Oh my God
Days Inn has numerous problems including security, employees, management and ownership. Days Inn does not have any security. Guests are allowed to make noise. A couple days ago, guests from next door was making noise at 3 am. I called the front desk and was told that he would check into it. Thirty minutes later the noise was still going on. I called back to the front desk and was told that the issue has been addressed and that there was nothing more that can be done about it. The housekeepers at Days Inn are not doing their jobs. They are suppose to be sweeping the walkways but they are not. The walkway by me looks awful. I told the manager four days ago about it and she said she will get it cleaned but that has not happened yet. The housekeepers do not clean the rooms like they should be cleaned. One day I came in and they had cleaned my room but they did not clean the toilet. I had to clean it myself. Some of the housekeepers do not change the sheets on the beds. The manager and owner are aware of the housekeepers not changing sheets but refuse to do anything about it. The manager here is awful. She has let the power of being a manager go to her head. She wants to watch what is given to guest here at the hotel but gives supplies to people who are not staying here. One day, I watched her give rolls of toilet paper to a former employee. All the owner cares about is the money. He asks management to turn their heads to drug use and prostitution at the hotel. He does not want to spend money to take care of problems in the rooms. A lot of the toilets in the rooms do not flush properly and they are not being fixed. There are also reports of some of the rooms on the first floor having problems with mice. Be careful if you choose to stay at Days Inn. If the bed bugs do not get you the mice will.
